    My ex is a big, tough guy. But in crisis situations he reacts impulsively rather than thinking it through…anger, panic, and brute strength. In a prepper lineup for choosing teams I’m sure he’d get chosen long before me, but the truth is I stay calm, can analyze quickly, have tons more knowledge and skills, and never end up in jail. Judging a book by its cover in SHTF is probably a mistake. 😋

    I used to panic when I was young. Once I got into Nursing, man…did I change. I analyze quickly, then react. No panic. I then noticed how patience I can be IF I let myself. Family and friends said how nicely I matured regarding my emotions as I aged thru my life. Nursing taught me a lot about myself and how to react. 43 years later I still analyze and react. I’m not saying I’ve always made the best decisions, it’s just that I’ve learned to not react so quickly

    Another excellent topic to cover M.R.
    We have a few "new" neighbors in the area. They announced themselves as preppers. We just said, really!
    A couple month's down the road, they are no longer preppers they are just surviving barely. That's the ones to watch closely.

    Oh yes, absolutely, people are the biggest variable . . . at any time, really, but when SHTF that degree of variability will be even more magnified. People, right now, are becoming more and more unpredictable. Tempers are short. Moods are often depressed. Rational thinking is less common. Hope seems to be waning. This is a recipe for disaster even without an SHTF event. Add SHTF into the equation and I believe people will be the biggest, most dangerous, variable. The most dangerous thing I believe a person can encounter is a person who believes they have absolutely nothing left to lose. Keep out of that man's way!

    • @joelaichner3025
      @joelaichner3025 Місяць тому

      @@iamdoroda A Hand Pump Kit , uses the existing continuous plastic pipe or modern sections connected of plastic pipe that goes down to your water level underground, you lift the pump / plastic pipe out of the Well casing from where it’s connected to the adapter that’s welded to the Well casing that leads to your Copper pipe which runs under your basement floor to your holding tank , after lifted out , usually about 8 to 12 feet , an adapter is provided in the kit that gets spliced into the plastic feed pipe , gets installed slightly below the connection ( union ) that leads to the copper pipe on the outside of the Well casing that goes to your holding tank , Hand pump comes with a one way check valve so you never loose your prime and comes with enough 1 inch I.D. Hose ( you cut to proper length ) to connect to the hand pump on top your Well casing where the Cap would have been , Hand pump has a quick disconnect fitting so you don’t have to leave it connected all the time , keep it in the house until you need it , for extremely cold places like where I live , the top 5 or 6 feet below the Hand Pump should be wrapped with plugged in heat wrap , to avoid freezing during the winter , and that requires you to run an electrical wire from in the house to the Well Casing , but only needs to be plugged in during the winter , Hardest part of the job is just lifting the pump out of the casing to get to where the one into two adapter gets installed , once it’s done ? You’ll say ? That wasn’t so hard ! Have a Wonderful Day

    Your right. If you have enough experience dealing with bad situations you start to get a feel for how people will react. There are exceptions to this. Been surprised a few times myself. In general, if you listen to them and watch what they do on a daily basis you can get a good idea. Life and death situations amplify what a person is on a daily basis.

    Enjoyed the video. Only point I would disagree on is your low percentage estimate of younger people with strong work ethics & willingness to pitch in. I raised 6 kids of my own (all are grandparents now) then raised 5 grandkids due to death of parents, Not only has every one of those kids, now young adults, worked since they were in high school but so have their friends. Many in their 20s have well paying jobs & education in varied fields. I've lived in the West most of my life; maybe we just grow them tougher out here but I think most of them will do okay!

    I haven't been on much lately and missed some of your content. I'm just seeing this vid for the first time. You are so right. I'm pretty worried at this point. Our home is paid for. We have no debt. I was hoping to stay here. About 6 years ago, we got some new neighbors. They are both retired gov. employees. The man is a retired undercover vice cop from out west. We are in TN. I do not trust this guy AT ALL. He has said and done some very bad things to me of a sexual nature. Since we have to live nextdoor to these people I didn't tell my husband for years. But, last year, this guy was unloading a bunch of guns out of his vehicle because he and his wife just got back from the range. He actually said this to me. "When things go south you can come over and be my second wife." I just tried to remain stoic and left with no reaction. I have even had dreams warning me of this man. What does he mean? What about MY HUSBAND??? All these things ran through my mind of what this mfer has planned. I'm terrified. Not gonna lie. Now we are making plans to move. I pray to our Father that there is enough time. I do not think all popo are bad. But, from my own personal experience A LOT of them are. Please pray for us. I've been lucky enough to keep my husband off the deep end of going over there and...well....you're a man. I'm sure you understand. Any advice at all? I know we have to move. But, what if we run out of time???

Little things like that can make a huge difference in showing that you are serious. I want better radios but i just bought what i could afford. Hopefully I will get some GS5R? radios to pass out soon. I can't recall the exact one? Having communication is pretty important if you are watching out for trouble.

    100%. I've always told people I don't even trust myself 100%, no one knows how they will react to every situation. We think we know but we simply do not. I even told our local group that. Lets say you have a child killed will you snap, will you carry on, what if its a wife, your house ect ect. I'm not saying we shouldn't learn to control our emotions but you just can't know. If my child is starving what would I do, now think about that with people who haven't even begun to have any sort of plan.

    I think all evaluation of others needs to be as an individual person & not as a group member of any type of group.
    The group they happen to belong to is something to evaluated separately & can be an indicator of what the person is like as an individual.....but its only one variable.
    As far as belonging to one of the so-called generational groups these groups are Just Methods to Divide Us & Cause Problems between us. Anything is being used to Divide people & keep us too busy fighting with each other to notice that there is a Source causing all of the financial problems, all of the social problems, and so on.
    And this is true not only about the so-called generational group & parties, but also, religions, races, locations/which state you are from or city you are from, and so on.

    My hens are so lovely. I adore them. They have their own personalities. But they are still a**holes to each other.
    People, on the other hand, are completely unpredictable. You have no idea which ones will keep calm and carry on and which ones will just cave in and which ones will become dangerous. At least chickens are predictable.
