For this scenario it's easy. Put the laptop on the tan chair. Plug in an external keyboard put that on the black stool and put that under the tan chair.
Very true! there's nothing ergonomic about using a laptop. The best practice would be to use a desktop PC or use a docking system for a laptop for a long period of use.
I think she mentioned get a separate keyboard for your laptop... as in your lap top at eye level would be your screen and your new wireless keyboard would be arm level
I've got a T2-L2 fusion and I've found that the only thing that keeps me from 'hanging' off of my fusion is to sit VERY upright with a way to change my foot position every couple of minutes. (I use a bar as a foot rest for that.) But the biggest thing is to get up and WALK - slowly and gently - frequently. I can't sit or stand in any position for any extreme length of time without pain, so I don't do that. I take a lot of breaks. Right now we're designing my office and I've got three desks worked into the plan. I'm going to be able to move from sitting upright, sitting reclined, and standing (with the keyboard and screens at the right heights) as often as I need to. The goal is that, at no point, am I holding any one position for more than an hour. And I'm still going to be taking frequent breaks.
If you’re in IT just Get up every 20 minutes and move around. Stretch, side skips, high knees, basically get a little sweat bead going on every 20 minutes
Thank you very much. Forearms must be parallel to the ground......get a separate keyboard. eyes must be level with top of screen.....elevate the screen to achieve this.
Lol why are you messing about with stools and chairs?! There are professional standing desks online that have two tiers... one for head height (Screen) and the other for keyboard height (Hands). Like the Harmoni standing desk for example.
It literally says it in the title...the video isn’t about actual standing desks, it’s about DIY aka makeshift ones that many people are doing at home and doing incorrectly.
Sop!! yes small laptop keyboard and screen, now what if u have an adjustable arm for monitors and good ergonomic keyboard. And not jut somthing to support but have a real adjustable table. Well sorry but better the adjustable table, bueacuse u have the option to stand by pressing a bottom.
imagine using a laptop in 2022.... and then imagine using a laptop without external monitors... and than imagine not using external monitors with monitor arms .... oh and imagine using the laptop keyboard lol ....
Really, this video highlights the issues with laptops, not sit stand desks(or makeshift variants).
train hard, body strong, no injuries, there, solved it
Train hard and pratice bad posture you'll still have injuries
good video. I knew of these issues, but a good thing somebody pointed them out for those who don't know
Makes sense! Thanks!
Thank You.
Right to the point. Absolutely love the way physiotherapist explains failures in so many ways. Thank you!

But with a laptop, aren't you having to look down anyway, when wrists are in alignment?
Very true! there's nothing ergonomic about using a laptop. The best practice would be to use a desktop PC or use a docking system for a laptop for a long period of use.
You’ll need to get a separate mouse and keyboard that plug in with usb or wireless, it’s what I do.
Thanks for the replies, but I was simply making a point about how inclusion of a laptop was irrelevant (because of what you've mentioned)

Separate keyboard? Helpful, thank!
Thanks
Moral of the story DONT WORK

@@Analymous i aleardy ordered my atandimg desk
@@criptik5208 Have you received it yet? I promise you will love it
thanks so much !
Agree, head and elbow must be relaxed while work not in stress ow cause injuries pain. so desk must be properly designed to accommodate all
super counterproductive. I am an IT professional, with 3 huge monitors, not sure how this video can help
If you’re in IT just Get up every 20 minutes and move around. Stretch, side skips, high knees, basically get a little sweat bead going on every 20 minutes
Cuz no matter how you sit, too much of it is bad for you even if you’re in the most perfect position possible. Bodies are meant to be in movement 24/7
Thanks for an informative video. Would you recommend using a Harmonidesk?
I just got a Harmoni desk and am going to use it for 100 days and make a video about it 😀
I just can't quit thinking about her. Can't focus on what is she saying at all. She's just gorgeous
Hey my monitor is clamped at my level height and I touch type so I don't look down on the table. Standing desks are good.
So, dont use a laptop?
Very helpful!
Thank you very much. Forearms must be parallel to the ground......get a separate keyboard.
eyes must be level with top of screen.....elevate the screen to achieve this.
nope. elbows should be just a little bit ABOVE the keyboard so the forearms are angled downward a little bit.
That’s great ❤
Pretty useful information, bless you 😊
Thanks for this video beautiful lady
Great job. You have highlighted the reason why I've never liked laptops.
Awesome. Thanks.
So spend less than $20 on a usb keyboard and mouse... problem solved.
I love her. Straight to the point.
Me and my backpain saying a sacrifice must be made.
M in love
Wow I’m serious the issues office workers come up with astound me

Some of us are poor lol

Liked 👌👌👌👌
You can simply use a separate monitor and keep your arm and your head in the right position. It’s a simple solution.
Anyone actually achieved this nirvana setup?
0:02 hands sounded like you farted

Laptops don't work well with standing desks
Perfect

thanks for saving my money.
I mean lots of money
Another reason to recognize the PC Master Race!
Let's just say it: Laptops are the worst.
Laptop problems
Thank you for the helpful reminder
Just trivial information, but no solution
That's a great explanation and worthy consideration... Except the fact that u are gorgeous as hell.😳🥰
You are gorgeous and the way you talk with makes you more wonderful and awesome.
Sorry if this comment is quite far too the topic of this video.

Lol, you aren't going to injure your elbows by raising them. Modern humans are fragile
