We are a family of 5 living life in North Pole, Alaska! Where Santa Claus House is right down the street! We love spending time together as a family, having fun, learning through homeschooling, growing in our faith, and building our forever home! I undersstand completly. My husband and I adopted our son 25 years ago, he is also my grandson. After raising the other children it was a shock in a way to start with a brand new one. We really struggled the first 6 months. After that we were fine. Sadly my husband died of Lung cancer in 2013, our last child was in high school. Our son is also autistic. God has his own plans, and we are here to serve! God bless, and enjoy!
We'll be here watching, waiting and praying. I understand being overwhelmed especially with the loss and the baby. Lost my mom in 2019, lost my MIL in 2020 and my FIL in 2021. And to top it off my husband and I have been raising our grandchildren for the last 6 months. Definitely a life changing experience to be 55 years old and raising a 1 year old, a 4 year old and a 5 year old. When you said you were haggard I totally understood what you meant. Prayers and blessings are coming your way

We are in our 70's and retied from the military after 24 years. Our oldest son died from cancer 16 months ago and our other lives 2 miles from us. We only had 2 children. I was 9 and my husband was 10 when we met. we were next door neighbors. We been married going on 53 years.
I think most viewers would agree that one of the top reasons we follow y’all is that you have such an amazing family bond! It is definitely what drew me to you channel. Thanks for all you share with us. Warms my heart to see such a loving family with faith and good values. The world needs more families like yours! Like many kids did.when I was little I sat on the couch watching grandma doing needle pointing .looking at the underside of her work never seeing the finished picture .The under side was a mesh of tangled colored threds.but when she was finished she would humbly turn it over and show us something beautiful..Thats how God works in our lives ..We sometimes only see tha tangled twisted colored threads. But be assured when His work in you is complete the finished picture will b BEAUTIFUL 😍 and the Joy of what He has accomplished will b yours

There is nothing more important than family time while family is still around to spend time with. Everything else is only important if it doesn't interfere with that quality family time. I watch your videos, but rarely reply. I just wanted to say this because often times my life is one thing after another and I need winding down and gathering my thoughts to keep from becoming overstimulated. Do what you need to so that your family life can be healthy and as peaceful as possible. Holidays are coming soon and it's only going to become more hectic, so now is a good time to take time.

You said our Lord takes away grandma and brought some wee special little person into your lives. God did that with me too. I lost my husband of 40 years to covid last December. This September our middle daughter blessed me with a baby granddaughter. And my youngest daughter is blessing me with another granddaughter. So God took away and now blessings me with twice as much . Definitely take some time off. Your family has been going 90 miles an hour for months now and I was beginning to wonder when was there going to be a break because the videos were coming out almost twice a week! We'll see you all on the other side when you've had time to bond with the new baby and settle into a calmer routine.

That early onset of winter in Alaska would be totally soul-destroying for me. To see the outside thermometer plummet to 20° in mid-October blows my mind. I hate winter at the best of times, but the winter in England is not nearly as severe as where you are. So depressing, with the cold permeating through to the bones and the almost total darkness much of the day, I just couldn't bear it.

Take all the time you need to slow down and catch up with life, to quote a movie "life moves pretty fast if you don't stop to look around once in a while you could miss it" so again take all the time you need to slow down breathe and let your bodies and minds recover and recharge. i will always support your channel, but if i have to i will remind you (along with the other happy peoples) to slow down and take time to recharge .

Most of the time a family has nine months to prepare and adjust to a new baby. Yours happened overnight. A big adjustment that is done with lack of sleep. Add to it coming after some big events that require adjusting and healing. Give yourself grace and take the time you need. May God be with you in this time.

I think having a crazy busy life at this age is okay but as the kids get older, and things settle a bit more, and adjustments are made, hopefully you will be able to get more balanced and have a bit calmer day to day life. In the meantime, prayers to you and your family. It will all work out. God always has a plan.

You are incredible nice people because you said not to feel pressured to buy any of your clothes and that you just enjoy reading people's comments. You pay kindness forward whether you realize it or not because mt husband just donated a lot of moeny to a friend overseas in a poor country who couldn't afford an operation........I could have throttled him for doing it because our budget is really tight right now but just by you stating " Nobody needs to feel pressured to buy our clothing" really proves their are nice people out there and whether you realize it on not this kindness has been paid forward.

When the Frey Life adopted their little one, they took all weekends off and only posted every other day. You do what you need for your family, that comes first always.

We lost my mom suddenly, I turned 40, we got a call about an infant needing a placement, what?A baby when we’re 40 what we’re we thinking? We had three teenaged adopted daughters, one adopted teen son and to birth sons , the oldest was 20 and in Bible College and the other was a senior in high school! So, I totally understand you. That little baby girl completed our crazy quilt of a family! She came to us out of a situation that was not shall we say the best was to grow up, for her first nine months of her young life I know God truly had His hand on her then He chose us to be her forever family. His ways are truly higher. All five of our chosen children were not chosen by us but by our Father’s hand for us! I truly believe that He designs our families so your little diamond is a special choice for you by our Heavenly Father. He has chosen your family to be her family! Blessings from Cape Coral, Florida! I secretly envy your snow but truly enjoy watching from the warmth of Florida! Lol.
