I’m born and raised in Central Valley of California, but have traveled to most states and Canada, but would love visiting Alaska! I’d like to see the North Pole, Wasilla, Homer, Juneau, Anchorage and Sitka! Love your channel. I just found it when you brought your new baby girl home! Congratulations! She’s truly a gift from God! 💗
So sorry that Audrey has to battle with the motion sickness so often. I know I’ve been battling with it all my life and I’m almost 70. I just pray she finds some relief along with something that helps to reduce that motion sickness as she gets older. It’s definitely something that spoils those special family times and times to get away. 💕🦋🙏🤗
What a wonderful family vacation. The kids won't be small forever. It seems that everyone is enjoying the trip. Ok, ya gotta video at least one " Dad are we there yet".
So sorry to see all the fires around you. Being Australian we can relate to the awfulness of fires burning in your state. Stay safe and have a lovely holiday together.
Thank you for taking us with you , my love of Alaska has rubbed off here , we’ve named our 13 week old cavapoo puppy Denali, after the national park . Always wanted to visit and even live in Alaska, probably off grid somewhere very remote . So so beautiful , thanks guys .
Couldn't believe it when l watched this!! We just got back home to WA. today after being in Homer. We went to Kenai to see our granddaughter and one of the days she took us to Homer. She and grandpa had already been there a couple of days before on a halibut charter. So we came home with a freezer box full!!! So fun to see you enjoying some of the same places we just returned from :) Thanks for the view from behind the lens!!!
Woo Hoo another wonderful Alaskan town to add to my ‘want to visit’ list! Homer looks like an awesome place to visit! I’ve been to Anchorage, Whittier (to board ship), Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan, Glacier Bay, Denali and en route on the train from Princess Lodge. So much more I want to see! Thanks for taking us - glad the truck and moose didn’t ruin your good times! Stay safe Somers❣️
I actually lived and worked at Mt McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge in 2011. I lived on-site. Spent a lot of time in Talkeetna also. Spent a few months in Anchorage. Moved back to Tennessee. But I do miss Alaska
I have lived in palmer, Anchorage and now we are in Wasilla took over 17 years to finally find the perfect spot in Wasilla. Hands down favorite place in alaska to live is Wasilla Alaska. Keep coming by without stopping for a meet n greet. Stinkers. Lol sending our love happy you guys are enjoying this beautiful blessing of a summer. Tschandra
So so pretty!! It breaks my heart that Audrey struggles so bad with traveling. Have you talked to her doctor?? Is there ANYTHING that can help her? I hated seeing Disney being such an issue and now this. She has to miss so much and would be so disappointing if it limits her in seeing the world as an adult too. Such a beautiful young lady!! Have fun and can't wait to see more!!
The motion sickness audrey has i used to have. In order to overcome it i never looked out side windows but straight ahead always... No cell phone use or looking down. You guys are awesome parents!😁
I was going to say the same thing...look out the front windshield as the vehicle moves. It has to do with motion in your inner ears and the visual motion lining up. Don't read, don't look down at a screen. Great video
We were there in 2011 and again in 2021 with our son and family. We went out on a fishing trip for halibut. It was amazing. Each of us caught 2 fish. It’s an awesome place.
Poor Audrey.. I used to get motion sickness at her age all the time. The only time I felt ok in the car is sitting up front with my dad in the passenger seat... so mom traded places and moved to the back and I became my dad's co-pilot. What a world of difference it made. To this day I cannot sit in the back of a van.. I need to be in the front passenger seat or driving.
I struggle with motion sickness on long trips as well. Would it be possible to allow Audrey to set up front for a good while to see if it helps her? I discovered that the more of the horizon or the more outside that you can seethe less motion sick that I get. For example in a in a van I do not set in the back And in a car I don't set in the middle.
Actually sitting in the middle helps, so you can look out of the front window, because looking sideways isn't best either. No screens, no books, just looking outside 👍
Thank you so much for sharing your family adventures. it's a true privilege to be able to explore these amazing places and landscapes. What incredible vista's. Enjoy your holiday. Safe travels.
Homer reminds me a lot of our beaches here in Northern California. I love coastal towns, and the beauty of the ocean and laid-back lifestyles. I grew up going to many of our local beaches and coastal towns, and have since passed that same love onto my four boys.🤗
What a fun vlog!! Thank you for taking us along 😊 Last week my husband, our two little boys and I made the move up from Arizona to Fairbanks and we live here now!! We are so excited to see what God has for us in this place!
I feel like I am apart of your family! You invite me into your home, you invite me in your road trip, your everyday activities. Whenever I have a bad day and I’m looking for some comfort. I look up one of your videos and it makes me feel all warm inside. Thank you for all you do. God bless.
About 10 years ago, we were lucky to take a tour of Alaska. Started in Indiana and flew to Seattle then flew into Anchorage. The bus then took us to Whittier to Prince William Sound to see the glaciers. AWESOME!!!!! Back to Anchorage then rode to the train to Denali - again AWESOME!!! Another train ride to Fairbanks. All is beautiful!! You are so lucky!! Enjoy your trip🥰
Omg I was praying for your family, and then you said Praise The Lord!! I'm so happy you shared your family with me and all of us. Christ bless all of you forever.
We’ve never been to Homer but now I know that we will have to go. We have property in Delta Junction and live in Texas . Flying into Fairbanks in September to get the land ready for a tiny house. I’m praying for Alaska . These fires are all over the state. God Bless and thank you so much for the video it was awesome
HOW FUN... ROAD TRIP 👍😁 That Fish & Chips looked AWESOME When our house burned down when I was 6 years old my parents, 4 kids, 3 dogs all in a Very small 6 sleeper Shasta trailer in the back yard while being rebuilt & all the kids came down with Chicken pox.... Was a horrible time in a LITTLE Camper but all together & Family... Have a BLAST... So PROUD of You touching it out Audrey 💖🤗 GBY ALL 🙏❤️💙💖💖💙🐕🤗✝️ P.S. My husband and I like Telkeetna, Alaska or the little town after the tunnel. We loved how friendly the people are in the small towns.Absolutely love Alaska. I don’t think there is a bad place in Alaska.
Thank y'all for showing us homer, Alaska love the city or town, the dog is growing take care all, love the hoodie your wife wear color are nice pink and green olive.😁🤗😀🥳
We had a camper that size years ago. We bought it cause the 3 kids were never comfortable in the back seat of a car. So we used it to camp and just tool around. It was really neat. Loved it until kids got a bit older and we were finished camping. And we wanted to get rid of it before we would have trouble getting rid of it. It was so much cheaper than hotel/motel vaca.
Beautiful Scenery, I’m so thankful I got 6 months job assignment with Northwest Orient Airlines @ Anchorage, Alaska from December 1972 to May 1973, loved it❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'd love to visit Homer. I can' t "do" mountains (I get altitude sickness, really bad) but can surely admire their majesty. And the ocean, waves - my happy place. Temperature is pretty perfect. Fifty is my "I can do just about anything" favorite temperature. Take a deep breath, just for me, Audrey!! Have the best of times!!
My husband and I were in the Air Force and decided to stay in Alaska (Anchorage) after we got out. Stayed for 14 years. Great place to raise a family. We were homeschoolers too. We are back in his home state of NC, but I miss my Alaskan home
It's been YEAR'S since we have gone camping. Every summer we used to go camping as a family. We went all over the place, Homer, Seward, Valdez, Anchorage. Memories that will last forever. Unfortunately my mom is handicapped so our camping day's have ended but man do I miss it.
Poor Audrey.....My grandaughter used to suffer from car sickness. Hopefully it will go away someday audrey. Lovely scenery. I hope to visit someday. I will live vicariously thru you till I do.
Omgosh! Such beautiful scenery!! I'm so sorry that there are fires in the beautiful state of Alaska! Please be safe! I'm glad you guys got a chance to go to Homer! Thank you so much for bringing us with you! I've never seen how beautiful it all is!! Be well and safe, guys!! God bless you all and sweet little Castener! He's such a cutie!!
We live in Savannah Missouri and 20 years ago after a plant closure we took off to Alaska and drove around 5 1/2 weeks with truck and small camper. Homer was a cool place to visit.
I also have severe motion sickness. There is a prescription patch that goes behind the ear and works great. It lasts for 3 days and I promise you she will feel great. It’s transaderm scop. Don’t let her suffer
My daughter lived in Homer for several years. We've been a few times and love Halibut Cove. We borrowed a friend's RV and spent a month in Southern Alaska. Be bear aware in the camp grounds.
I've never been to Alaska but I would go if I could. Anywhere would be great. I loved this video. Thank you so much for including Castner in your vacation! He must have loved it. Hugs from Norway.
It's wonderful to hear that you guys are doing alright despite everything that's going on. May the Lord give you more blessing. And keep things going up there.
Yes I;ve been several timesand always find something new to do. digging clams on the beach and of course halibut fishing, We used to drive our motorhome from Texas up and spend the summers in Alaska. I am reliving the wonderful times through your travels with your beautiful family. I hope to go again one more time.
I'm in Texas. It's a 5 hour drive to the gulf. I'm hours away from any big city. I'm in the boonies, a totally different world here. Yesterday lightening started a brush fire not far from me, 1 county north. Yesterday I could see the smoke and got a great shot of it. Today not so much even though it is still burning. Thankfully I can't smell any smoke. Have fun on your vacation.
So glad you filmed this trip. I was in AK several years ago and absolutely loved it. I recognized Denali and went through Coopers landing, visited the City of Hope, several other places and Homer. Went to the Harbor and learned the guys that filmed the Deadliest Catch docked their boat there. If someone likes nature and the outdoors, Alaska is the place to visit. The videos and pictures never can do it justice. ❤️
Thanks for the vacation video, your vids always bring a smile to my heart at the end of the day. May God watch over you for the rest of the trip. (and keep you from the crazy drivers.)
If you go to the hardware store you can buy stripes that go on the back of you vehicle that help take the static away. They are made for car sickness! Also if you can’t find them dragging a piece of chain will work too! I know as I use to struggle with it too really bad as a kid.
I went with my family on an Alaskan cruise many years ago. Most beautiful state I have ever seen. I wouldn’t want to move either if I lived there. Enjoy your vacation! Homer looks beautiful and peaceful, we had gone to Ketchikan and Juneau…. Alaska has a beautiful coast.
Such a wonderful trip for you all. Poor Audrey and her motion sickness. I'm feeling the same way. We just traveled 21hours from Germany to Croatia by car. No screens and no sleep helped me get in top of the sickness. Cross fingers that it gets better
Looking forward to seeing parts of Alaska that I didn't see when I was there on a 12 day trip (7 day cruise, and 5 days inland journey). It was all beautiful. I loved learning about the culture there.
Oh my gosh...thank you!! That was beautiful. I live in Southern California and I've always wanted to see Alaska so I love watching your videos. That was a very nice tour also. Your family is so beautiful!!! God Bless you all🙏👏❤💞
Thank you for sharing your trip! Brings back lots of memories my wife and 2 daughters would camp approximately 55 days each year. Start with beach camping, surfing etc., to then mountain camping in the High Sierra in California. Once rented a min-motor home for a couple of weeks on the Big Island, HI, went in April and had the camp sites to ourselves. I know that your children will remember these great times for their whole lives! Glad you are out of the smoke for a bit, I can't believe how many fires you showed burning, awful.
Love watching you guys! I have been unable to comment until recently but I never miss a video. As a grandmother to 5 kiddios and a Christian as well, your family inspires me🙏🏻
I lived in fort Wainwright right outside of Fairbanks. As a child and loved it. Have so many great memories of Alaska. My dad was trying to buy land out in the middle of nowhere where we would have to be homeschooled and we would be isolated living like grizzly Adams. But my mom said no she was from Florida and we were going back to Florida. But I've always wanted to move back to Fairbanks area, I think Alaska gets in your soul and never leaves.
I visited Homer in the early 90s when I was in the coast guard. Very beautiful place. I was there during the big Mt. Redoubt eruption there was ash everywhere it covered the whole town. Love your videos!
600 miles, that's how long the UK is. I just can't comprehend the size of states like Alaska and Texas. The US is absolutely huge. I'm glad you're able to show us some of your home state, it's beautiful.
Thanks so much so including us on your vacation !!! Doggie's getting big ... not going to be too long Jessica and you're not going to be able to carry him around :)
What a fun time! Beautiful area! Snow on the mountains and a beach! So cool! Am glad the motorhome is working out well. Thanks for taking us along. Looking forward to more sights. Stay safe! 💗💗
Something about the family brings me peace. I too am a married man with a beautiful wife and 3 kids. (2 oldest are girls and youngest is boy. Almost the same age too). Maybe it’s the Holy Spirit, or the gentleness of you, the genuineness. Or all 3. Love it. Take care. Would love to meet you all one day. Stay safe, God Bless. Bert, you make me want to be a better family man.
I’m born and raised in Central Valley of California, but have traveled to most states and Canada, but would love visiting Alaska! I adore no matter how old the kids get.. they still close out the vlog. 🇨🇦❤️🙏

Sitting in the front seat will always help. I suffered from motions sickness until I learned to drive.
The doctors have meds for it, I suffered with this for years I'm 63. The thing behind the ear med is good too
What a wonderful family vacation. The kids won't be small forever. It seems that everyone is enjoying the trip. Ok, ya gotta video at least one " Dad are we there yet".
Love seeing all the Alaskan scenery. Looks like so much fun.
I have been to Homer in 1985. We went halibut fishing. It was beautiful and awesome. Thank you for this beautiful memory. I love Alaska.
Thank you for sharing about Alaska scenery, its beautiful, I would like to visit Alaska

They should give her motion sickness medicine
Try ginger root pills several times a few days before the trip and see if that helps. It worked for my husband on a cruise. Dr. Gott recommended.
The motion sickness audrey has i used to have. In order to overcome it i never looked out side windows but straight ahead always... No cell phone use or looking down. You guys are awesome parents!😁

Nice little family getaway.. Fun fun time.. Fur baby is getting big.. Soo Sweet.. Kiddos having fun at the Beach collecting shells 🗻 🐚🐚🐳

Isn't it amazing how fast a dog becomes a part of your family?
From the looks of it..it reminds me of Bodega Bay CA. I'm from Sebastopol CA which is 10 miles from there. They made The Birds at Bodega Bay
I feel like I am apart of your family! You invite me into your home, you invite me in your road trip, your everyday activities. Whenever I have a bad day and I’m looking for some comfort. I look up one of your videos and it makes me feel all warm inside. Thank you for all you do. God bless.

Thank you for bringing us along😃👍🏼❤️
I have only been on a cruise to the inner passage but I would love to travel to the interior of Alaska.

You guys are blessed beyond measure!
