I did this over a year ago and it’s still going strong. My boys drive in all weather and regularly pull the loaded garden cart around. This year I replaced the 12v battery with three 6v batteries in series to get 18v. It flies now!
Is this still working well? Wondered whether it might put too much strain on motor compared to original plastic wheel slipping (which I figure is a bit like a clutch).

Rivets did not work for me at all. Decided on screws instead

One year still going strong. It gets abused too
Does the screws make the wheel more prone to splitting?
