Hi! We just released our first comic book on Amazon and Kindle Unlimited. Check it out and let us know what you guys think - Medusa: The Cursed Priestess - Link: amzn.to/39OjMYU
You obviously skipped the part where Deadalus helped Minos’s wife create a fake cow so she can get impregnated by the Cretan Bull, thus giving birth to the Minotaur! That’s the actual reason why he and Icarus got imprisoned.
The one who wanted to get Freedom at its peek (the Sun in this case) and ended up burning by it... BALANCE keeps things stable, probably the reason why his father told him not to fly too HIGH nor too LOW, in order to not get hurt either way... I think Icarus' story is a something that gives away a nice connotation, that we can all relate (just my opinion)
@@originalkingalpha5116say that to all the victims of COVID oh wait some of them are dead and some of them would have wished to follow the state regulations
The myth lives on to this day. Icarus is said to have fallen near an island, which was named after him, called Icaria (in Greece). The surrounding waters around Icaria are also called the icarian sea (ικάριο πέλαγος). Icaria is an island well worth visiting.
I never understand the line "give a man the ability to fly, and they will fly too close to the sun" in the X-men: Apocalypse movie... until I became interested in Greek Mythology
Constructive criticism: 1) Its Daydalus. 2) Daedalus was never put in the maze 3) Icarus was told not to fly to low bc the wings feathers would get wet from the waves. 4) It was candle wax, not bees wax. 5) The one he killed was his nephew or cousin. The animation was great but ill leave the rest to what is in the numbered list.
Out of all the comics you've done so far, my favorite was the Medusa one. Is there any way you could sell a physical copy of it? If you can I would totally buy it! Medusa's story was just astounding to me! Tragic, but I loved it. 💖💖💖
Same story exist with hindu mythology where two vultures brothers bet to reach son the younger brother (jatayu) tries to overtake his older brother (sampati) jatayu's feathers begin to burn where samati cover him with his feathers at last samaties feather are fully burned and he starts to fell where jatayu catches him and till his life time jatayu collect food for sampati

Hello po can we use ur video for our research po ty
Thanks for making one of my all time favourite stories come to live
Nice thanks for the heart
Have you played Kid Icarus?

Yeah they did that part a couple years ago but this was a comic that they didn't make with no real power over it
If the Cretan bull was returned then the king wouldn't have got the curse..so it's the king's fault.
I thought the actual reason was daedalus murdering another inventor out of jealousy, I am not sure thought.
@@arturkvieira no that's how he got exiled to Crete
I thought it was because he was the only one that knew the Labyrinth's layout, and Minos wanted to ensure it could not be navigated
Can't have sh*t in Crete
*-yep-*-
Everyone always forgets the part of the myth where he is warned not to fly too low.
The moral is moderation. Not hubris.
YUP

The same analogy with people who doesn't want to wear a mask i guess

Hearing this as a child - you never forget them.🌿🕊
you've heard of Icarus yes ? even he was given a chance to fail.
- Athena to Nikandreos , Apotheon video game
I've always loved this story, and all Greek Mythology Norse mythology Japanese mythology etc....☺️

This is what happens when your porridge and your bed isn't just right. You get eaten by bears.
Wait a minute.
See you in history just about to 600K subscribes nice job👍

Love your art as always
Ummmm this was heartbreaking! Did not expect the ending.
lcarus: l believe l can fly
This story is so sad that it makes you want to cry😭
I guess this happens if you take things too far.

When will the second part of Hanibal Barca be uploaded?? Looking forward to it 💙
Intoxicated by freedom, just like Eren.
Yup
And they had to pay the price.
This is a really good story
Icarus falls by ZAYN ✌❤
Here after seeing Icarus in Eternals.
I still remember Icarus game in my old Nintendo. It was great at that time
How about god of war
@@nemesisshadowlord2026 I liked the story of the latest one, that is set in Norse world
My! This is wonderful!
Could you do one on how he avoided death and was pursued by minos's ghost for years hiding in his labyrinth
He didn't. It was only in pjo. Also Daedalus wasnt even a demigod btw
Definitely better as a heavy metal song.
My all time favorite Greek story
They both suffered, The father suffered regret and the son suffered death
Plz do more comics like the Medusa ones. That was so cool
I love the song Iron Maiden made of this
Hello po can we use your video po for our research?
Thank you
I like this animation.
This is slightly similar to the story of 'Sampaati' and 'Jatayu' from Indian mythology.
Every time he says 'Daedalus' he pronounces it a different way.
I pronounce it as Dead-ah-lus but my friend said it's day-da-lus I'm really confused XD
@@catherine2025 it's day-duh-les lol Greek is hard to pronounce sometimes. Idk why he said it so many different ways lol
@@theonlyvampirateable Maybe even he didn't know 😲Anyway thanks
@@catherine2025 maybe. Like I said, it's difficult sometimes haha and no problem :)
Thank you friend.

Stay close to me.
Maybe he was condor family no.3 and wanted to fly like his big bro and "crash" into the ground. Causing trauma, blindness, and disowned.

the moral of the story: don't use bee wax as an adhesive
You guys are fast 😂
Or kratos ripped em off 😬
Iron Maiden taught me about the Flight of Icarus.
Yeah, I know that song
So what happened to his wife…😮
*The sun is a deadly laser*
Imagine daedalus in 2021. Elon musk who?
hello yall
i saw someone say that maybe icarus flew close to the sun is because he was in love with Apollo but like idk-
Hol'up
He didn’t listen
the way you said theseus made me physically cringe.
Drinking game idea: Take a shot every time Daedalus is pronounced differently than the time before
poor guy :(
This why the Sky is the limit.
The narrator read the name Daedalus in 3 different pronunciations throughout the story.
Excessive fredom cuses humans to fall
What happened next?
Icarus his body washed up on the shore of the island of the ikaria Greece
Parece com o vídeo do Don Foca
Iron Maiden song
What’s the point to the story, well people you should never fly to close to the sun.
Why didn’t they fly at night
Thanks grade 7 smac
Daedalus fast on the dislike
Fly on your way, like an eagle. Fly above the sun
