Hey Lauryl, thank you so much for putting this video together. A lot of work goes into it and it was very generous of you. I also share some similar perspectives on patterns so I appreciate all of the work, Lorien
I like the summer tees and tanks of Heidemarie Kaiser, like the „Breakfast at Tiffanys“, „India“ or „Graphito“ or „Shilhuetta“, her patterns are also great. With greetings from Germany.
The Faye Top by Irene Lin is also a beauty for the summer and I am knitting that now. It has a flutter sleeve is a mix of lace, cable and twisted rib pattern. So it is very engaging and hard to put down once started :)
Have you seen Zeva by Laura Aylor? Fingering, and av-neck, top-down and a lovely lace panel down one side from under the arm to hem that gives a slight A-line. Very neat short sleeves and minimal finishing. It’s my fav for a summer top or between seasons in wool. Thank you for such nice description details! Very helpful. Now I have a very long list of wants! 🤣
Thank you for the nice pattern suggestions. I specially like the Misurimi. @ 12:35 you mention a specific technique. Being dutch I could not understand the word you pronounced. Leatherback?
Hey Knitting bestie! Did I leave out your favorite summer/ spring knits? Let me know here!

Last summer I made a Tantan by yamagara, and it came out very cute. It’s got a little easy color work in the yoke, suitable for a beginner.
Lorna that’s such a cute pattern🖤
Love all these suggestions! I have made several of Jessie Mae's So Summer Shirt. She has so many staple options for summer knits.
Jessie Mae's patterns are so flattering on so many people 🖤
