    she's allowed to be dissatisfied with her body y'all. she knew that she wasn't taking care of herself and the picture is a very visceral reminder of that.

      i totally agree with you she is able to have any opinion that she wants on herself, but I think that she could of been more careful of what she said because she was bringing other people down, the people who look like that and people who's goal weight is that. because she has such a big platform, i just think she could of been more cautious of others.

      i agree. when i look at my body in the mirror at my size i think "i look so disgusting ew gross" but when i see other people my size i just think about how beautiful they are. having an opinion on your own body is not tearing other people down. everybody just likes to make everything about themselves

      I hate it when people disagree with your choice to lose weight or change your diet. It’s on you what you decide for yourself and how you feel about your body. Confidence and health choices are not something that should be debated.

    This is so inspiring! I'm vert short, like 5"1' so any weight I gain feels like a million pounds. I'm currently 135ish and I used to be in great shape, but now I've lost it. Technically I'm healthy and my BMI says I'm fine, but I don't love the way I look. This definitely helped my mentality

    • @deniawiseone95
      @deniawiseone95 4 роки тому +6

      Okay l can imagine how u might look and why u may feel uncomfortable. Your bmi is fine but ur bodyfat percentage maybe a different story which is why u dont like the way u " look"... I am taller, lm 5'5 and weigh 140. So lm 5 pounds more than u but my height makes me look thin. My bmi is fine too at 23 but my bodyfat percentage is 35!...way too much. So I too dont like this "skinny fat" look. I am hitting the gym and doing strength training with weights to build more muscle while l used the cardio machines a couple days a week to help strip off the fat. Weights are more important right about now because l need to look more filled in and curvier in a healthy manner...Good luck hun :)

    Great video! I definitely recommend to anyone who is a beginner and wants to shred off fat- your diet is KEY. Take away processed foods and sodas completely. Increase how much water you drink and eat more vegetables. Control your portions and stop eating once you're full. While you do that, do what Tara is talking about/demonstrating with circuit training and do the 20-10-5 method of sets. On your 20 set, use 5 lb dumbbells/weights, leave weights out for set of 10, and bring back weights for set of 5. It may not seem like it's making a big impact on your fat loss but it totally is. No you will not get bulky. Also please remember to love yourself through the journey and that it takes time to see huge results. If you work hard, you'll get where you want.

      Thank you!! A lot of people don't really know how to start off and this might help them and another tip is to eat your three foods breakfast,lunch,dinner and in between your lunch and dinner eat a little snack , Also don't eat after 8;00PM because alll that food is going to accumulate in your stomach and like you're not going to do exercise it's all going to stay there and you're not going to lose as much weight as fast and if you get hungry after 8 PM eat peanuts or anything that is not heavy ( yogurt, peanuts, fruit, almonds, cashews)

      seasoning is a very cultural thing. as a latina, we add seasoning to everything and it really surprises me when people don't use seasoning at all. what was said about keeping it away from your diet makes sense with some stuff but using some salt and pepper (thermogenic is how you say it?) actually would be better for a diet than package sauce for example. everytime you can avoid processed food, do, especially in a diet

    Thank you so much for sharing! I literally just went through the same thing you did gaining weight unexpectedly and losing sight of your normal routine. This video has helped encourage me to work out again and eat healthy again like I used to. A year and one month ago I moved out of my parents house and lived with my dad for a few months and then moved in with my boyfriend. Since then, I completely stopped working out. Then when I lived with my bf, I started eating unhealthy and creating food habits that I never had in my life. I'm at the point where I need to work on myself because a lot of it had to do with the stress and anxiety I was dealing with during that time frame of 8 months. So today, i have decided for 8 months, i am working on myself to get myself back on track, but much more stronger. Again, thank you so much!

    Day 1! I'm starting this today. It's my goal to lose 2 pounds per week. It'll be four months before I get down to where I want to be.
    ~and people saying she's being insensitive: "offense can be given, but doesn't mean it has to be taken." She's talking about *her* body, how she felt about *her* self... and I agree with other people saying she shouldn't be hard on herself, but that's a personal journey she has to undergo. I'm gonna be brutally honest and say don't take what she says personally because she's talking about *her* body, not any one else. If she was describing other people as disgusting, then yeah... that's a jerk move, but who cares? should a stranger really affect you that much? She was expressing how she felt about her own body, not yours.

      some people are sensitive and they can’t help but take offence and not everyone has a tough shell and are insensitive when it comes to body shaming. So yes, a stranger may affect people in that way, especially since they perhaps wouldn’t know you and may have no reason to lie. but really, how’d your transformation go?

    Hey friend, good for you. You look great. Just calling it out that when you say 'ugh get that out of here that looked disgusting', think how that makes those whose bodies look like that, or bigger, feel hearing you say that. I'm not saying this to make you feel *guilty*, but be aware that it's unhealthy to talk about yourself that way, too. Being motivated from hate/disgust/self-loathing is not as good as talking to yourself like you would a friend, saying 'I love you the way you are now, but we can do better' kind of thing.

      Jacqueline C This video is meant for younger audiences who are probably at the same point that she was in her before picture. She can say whatever she wants but as a professional trying to inspire people with "do it for yourself" and "love yourself" should maybe not hate on her before picture, calling it "disgusting". That's all.

    • @ohyessatan9387
      @ohyessatan9387 6 років тому +5

      She's not calling people with that sort of figure disgusting. Honestly, before I lost weight I was disgusted with myself because I knew I had the ability to look better. Looking at old photos of myself just reminds me of how much I let myself be in that spot. Some people simply just don't like to be reminded of how the used to be or look. It's like looking at a cringey "meme" you posted in 2012 when you were like 10. It doesn't mean she's shaming anyone who happens to be in the same state she was in. It was more like "gosh why did I put myself in that situation."

    • @abi21891
      @abi21891 6 років тому +6

      Correct. But there's a better way to say it. "This isn't what I want for myself, so I changed." There's nothing wrong with her before, so to say "disgusting" is a bit harsh. I look similar to her before, but I'm 27 and I don't offend easily, and this video is actually helping me lose weight. If I had been younger watching this video I might be totally discouraged and disgusted with myself after hearing that, and instead of listen to her I might have just clicked away. It's just about being mindful of how you speak to your large audience.

    • @yakialva837
      @yakialva837 6 років тому +4

      Jacqueline C ...because this video targets people who want to lose weight..so she's showing her viewers her results and what she did to lose her weight so her audience can follow suit........which is totally fine.....except she expressed herself in an incredibly awful way

And I didnt take offense because that's how she feels. She knows her after looks better than her before. It's like when you see a picture from middle/high school and it's an ugly face you made or something.

      ILUVMSDEJACUTE yeah but there's a younger audience who watch these videos who will use skinny people as a model, saying that can make them feel worse and that type of shit causes things like Anorexia and Bulimia a lot, yes she can say what she wants but filter your self when targeting a wider audience. This is the same as saying racists/homophobic/sexist people are allowed to say what they want without consequences.
