Guys! Check out this incredible part. From 2:24 to 2:30 he keeps up a perfect beat on the snare while changing hands in order to play other pieces. If you first watch it and then listen to it with your eyes closed you'll understand what i mean. Absolutely insane.
This was good on SE's part, but it just doesn't sound right. It's like the Rev's style was completely removed and replaced with extra hits. Love AX7, love SE, but no one can replace the Rev flavor.

I remember playing the Rev for my dad, he drummed in the late sixties. He literally couldn’t believe how tight and intricate his drumming was, he insisted it was computer generated, until i showed him live footage. Than you go and take one of Jimmy’s best performances and somehow make it more difficult and sound even better. That high hat work is just preposterous well done.

Man, when I heard this played by the Rev for the first time I thought I had found the best drummer ever and this was the best sounding lick ever. Now I just heard your version and I now have a new favorite. Amazing man. The speed, tastefulness, and accuracy is unbelievable!! Thank you for doing these videos and inspiring people. People that want to say you overplay songs, need to just go listen to the song that already exists and keep quite. This shows what can be done with an already amazing song. Very very well done!

Amazing! That's all I can say. When and if, I ever get my own place to live, I'm going to get me a drum set. I'm a guitarist, been playing 25+ years but I did study drums in high school in a college level band. I wasn't playing a kit but learned a lot of stick technique from playing steel drums and marimbas. I've maybe sat behind a kit, a couple of times, so my footwork, is probably not good but you inspire me to get a kit and conquer my limitations. Thanks for the inspiration El Estepario Siberiano!
I do this finger tapping thing on my steering wheel and desk and thighs and shoes and… well, pretty much all the time. I’ve been playing since I was 8 and am 40 now so, drumming is just a part of me. When I tap out this song (I can’t physically play it like this) I tap it EXACTLY how you just played it. You didn’t go extremely overboard and rather just added to the song and for that I legitimately commend you, knowing full well that you could have done something insane. Being able to restrain yourself and play something like this is true talent and understanding for your instrument. I’d also like to add, as someone who struggles with mental health, I LOVE that you have partnered with betterhelp. You’re a real one my friend.
I'm not sure if your other drum videos have been mixed like this before but I appreciate how the more left or right your drum pieces are the audio is more panned toward that direction. It's very noticeable with the floor tom. It makes you feel like you're actually there listening.
MAN! You take the drumming in this song to another level of difficulty! But still maintaining the groovyness. And seriously although seems “complicated” your fills is still very enjoyable for the ears and somehow doesn’t feel overdone. NICE JOB DUDE!

Amazing! That's all I can say. When and if, I ever get my own place to live, I'm going to get me a drum set. I'm a guitarist, been playing 25+ years but I did study drums in high school in a college level band. I wasn't playing a kit but learned a lot of stick technique from playing steel drums and marimbas. I've maybe sat behind a kit, a couple of times, so my footwork, is probably not good but you inspire me to get a kit and conquer my limitations. Thanks for the inspiration El Estepario Siberiano!

There is no way to be this extreme and fluid without the force... Just wow.
I do this finger tapping thing on my steering wheel and desk and thighs and shoes and… well, pretty much all the time. I’ve been playing since I was 8 and am 40 now so, drumming is just a part of me. When I tap out this song (I can’t physically play it like this) I tap it EXACTLY how you just played it. You didn’t go extremely overboard and rather just added to the song and for that I legitimately commend you, knowing full well that you could have done something insane. Being able to restrain yourself and play something like this is true talent and understanding for your instrument.
I’d also like to add, as someone who struggles with mental health, I LOVE that you have partnered with betterhelp. You’re a real one my friend.
I'm not sure if your other drum videos have been mixed like this before but I appreciate how the more left or right your drum pieces are the audio is more panned toward that direction. It's very noticeable with the floor tom. It makes you feel like you're actually there listening.
MAN! You take the drumming in this song to another level of difficulty! But still maintaining the groovyness. And seriously although seems “complicated” your fills is still very enjoyable for the ears and somehow doesn’t feel overdone. NICE JOB DUDE!
