@@JustADad now that iv tried it, i do actually lol. Do you know if the machine keeps the coffee hot while in the pot? I used up all of the coffee in the pot and didnt get a chance to test that out :/

Im out of coffee filters for this machine is there an alternate. A few sources says you dont need the filter. Once I truly forgot the filter and my coffee was full of grounds, so I know it needs the filter
Thanks for the review . I hve one of these and i guess mine has never worked properly because the end of time brew beeper goes off only a few minutes after the unit starts brewing. It continues to brew but now it seems to take forever to get a basic 8 cups of coffee to brew. This morning I gave up and just tuned it off. It must have gone over 30 minutes and I only had about 4 cups. I am wondering if something in the heating mechanism or delivery tube is going bad. Any ideas?
Yeah that sounds weird, have you ever descaled it?
@@JustADad yes, numerous times. At present the coil is plugged so bad it still takes30 minutes to brew 6 cups. I think it is time for a new pot.
Does it keep the coffee hot?
I've had this for years. Constant issue of the water spout to close to the edge knocks the filter down and the water barely touches the beans and grounds come through. End up with watery grounds.

What is your favorite Coffee?
Same issue with mine.. They should have included a spitoon for the grounds :)
I brew one regular and one strong .. I liked the strong better..

I've been drinking coffee all my life. My Dad's Parents (My Nani and Papu) put a tiny bit of coffee in mine and my Brothers bottle so we would stay up a little longer for them to love us up and of course spend more time with them in the Bronx New York where I was born. My Grandfather was from Istanbul Turkey and when I got older I had the pleasure of drinking good Turkish coffee and the Demitasse Coffee which was brewed very strong bold and flavorful. I always put some milk or half and half creamer with lots of sugar because I like the caffeine and sugar energy. When I was driving a U haul full of Fine Art across the Country when I was doing Art Shows I needed Strength and Energy to be Alert. Especially in New York City and New Jersey Traffic. The New Jersey and Pennsylvania Turnpike would be congested with traffic too. A driver needs to be Alert! To this very day, I take a Thermos full of strong coffee and I have French Vanilla Creamer in my cooler with the blue ice pack. I live in the Midwest nowadays and I drive to Miami about once a month for both visiting my family and I have business down there too. The Cuban Coffee "Colada" they give you a little paper shot and several people all say Salud and we do a shot of strong Black coffee!
Does coffee stay hot? If I want to drink shortly after exhaustion?

The glass carafe doesn’t drip water when pouring. I have purchased expensive coffee makers that have carafes that drip water everywhere, this puts them to absolute shame.
Black silk coffee comes out strong without having to use the strong brew option (I use 5 tbsp and it’s perfect) I have never used the strong brew option.
The lid on the glass carafe actually comes off. More expensive models don’t always offer this option and it is very aggravating.
The glass carafe, carafe lid & filter basket are all 3 dishwasher safe.
I purchased an inexpensive water purifying pitcher from the Home Depot to go alongside this coffee maker & the coffee is delicious. I don’t use the pods you can purchase for this model.
Brewing time is normal compared to other models I’ve owned. It doesn’t leak, etc. You take a risk on getting a dud nowadays no matter what brand you purchase.
This model seems to sell pretty well at my local Walmart. Apparently, it’s pretty popular and I can see why.
does anyone know what the strong brew setting actually does?
the hot water is a little slower coming out.

Wow only a month. How many pots of coffee do you make a day. these should last longer than that

sorry to hear that. these usually can not be fixed.
I got one from Walmart and it's a piece of junk. The filter constantly collapses and the coffee grounds are in the coffee, therefore you have to strain it as you pour. Then the coffee doesn't drip or come through without you holding the coffee pot top to engage the spring loaded dripper for the coffee to come into the pot. Totally a POS
