    Your tutorials are where I've learnt the most about Geometry Nodes. Thoughtfully explained, beautiful results and super chill. You're up there with the greats and deserve way more subscribers. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!

    I'm so happy I found your channel. I've learnt a lot from your flower tutorial and now the first and second part of the fish tutorial. I am just a beginner into geo nodes and love your explanations on how each node works. Much love ❤

    Somehow even if i have the 'all parts' selection on in the smooth modifier, it keeps smoothing the scales

  • @mikafilleul4020
    @mikafilleul4020 2 роки тому +1

    I have a problem with the scale, I cannot find correct value to have them in the correct direction for both side. If there are pointing to the tail on one side they will point to the head on the other side. I think it has to do with the "scale elements" node. I tried several value but the problem still occurs. Do you have any idea how to solve it ?

    • @nenghuo
      @nenghuo  2 роки тому +2

      yes, it might have this issue but I think it's not that big of a problem if you don't look at it so closely, but if you really want to solve it, I think if you split the body to two vertex group and make them to two selection for two scale element it might work, you can try it and tell me if that works.

    Hello! I'm enjoying your lecture.
    But there are parts where you skip, so it's a little hard for me as a beginner to follow properly. ㅠㅠ자
    When connecting the skin and septate geometry node in 3:15, the skin group was told to select only the body, but in the video, hand and tail are all included... What should I do?
    Oh, and if you can show the node's numbers a little more accurately, it will be a great help to study
    Thank you so much!!

    is is just me or the fish is really heavy for viewport? every time i try to play the animation it gives me 1 Frames per seconds. Is there a fix or am i just stuck here?

    • @nenghuo
      @nenghuo  2 роки тому +2

      First you shoe close your fish scale, only open it when it's rendering. And then lower your subdivision notes, and then there's a technique near the end of the final video you can go check out, you can make a clone of this fish ( apply modifier ) and that one will be more efficient you can use that to do the animation.
