How did you find the trackpad? We bought 11 last year and have found most of them have an issue with the cursor freezing/stopping, requiring me to lift my finger from the trackpad and start again, where it would move again. Very irritating if that was your main way of operating the cursor.

Mine has been pretty ok. Very smooth experience. Only complaint is that it sometimes fails to wake up from sleep and you lose your work.

I've not had 12 hours unless you are doing very basic work. I'm a heavy user though. I can get 8 hours a day.
