- Here are my top 10 picks for lego star wars minifigures to buy in 2024 in order to make money. Lego investing is the simple practice of buying something for a lower price, waiting until that item has retired (thus making it far rarer and only available via the second hand market) and then selling that lego item for a much greater price.
This doesn't work on every lego product however, well unless you want to have to wait 20 years to see a small profit (which I certainly don't) you have to carefully select the best sets and minfigiurews to buy in order to make money. I have been doing this a while and thus have a fair bit of insight into this subject.
Lego Star Wars is a very popular theme and one that I personally choose to invest in heavily throughout the year, it has a huge fanbase and a wide variety of popular characters which people adore, and those are the minifigures that tend to fetch the best prices once the set they come in retires.

I think Commander Cody should be number one on this list for several reasons. First, as of now he is tied to a $140 set. Second, he is a VERY popular mini figure and looks GREAT! Third, we have never got a phase 2 Commander Cody ever before in Lego form and Lego Star wars fans have been wanting him badly every since Revenge of the sith so it has been close to 18 years and we finally got him. As long as Lego doesn't do something stupid and put him in another set he will go to the moon in value! But I really can't see why Lego would put him another set unless they do an anniversary of the Revenge of the Sith.
Yeah it was a close one between him and bo katan, I’m sure if both stay exclusive they will be insanely expensive in the future
I know the Mexican lego factory is making lego Cody, and selling them on brick link. This factory makes a lot of retired figures and sells them unauthorized.

Hi,I'd like to ask you a question about minifigures.I bought recently a 9499 Gungan sub set.And as you know there is a queen Amidala minifigure.Now I carefully assambled the minifigure and put it straight into on of the boxes made buy Wicked brick.Is that mimifigure now considered as new or used?

Imo Hera from the Ghost should be on here. She’s in a similar boat as the Bo Katan minifigure. Only I think the Bo Katan is more likely to be put in another set. Also the Bo Katan is exclusive but it comes in a cheaper set than the Hera.
I rate the tie bomber does quite well in the future! With the cantina retiring end of year do you rate they put it on sale again?
John Lewis usually have it on sale for £275. So just keep checking the website. It’s never dropped below that price
Commander Cody is prolly my favorite in the list he is just awesome and I could see people who want a clone army in the future they would want a commander cody for there army.
