I wish Lego would finally do a Minas Tirith simply so everyone will just STFU about it.

I may be alone in this, but I would love a diorama style Ford of Bruinen, with the 9 riders and the waves turning into horses. I don't think Lego has ever done such a horse-heavy set, though.

They should only make smaller sets. They cannot do justice to any large structure in Middle Earth. Lego is lazy, they will end up making Brickheadz only.

It would be almost impossible to do but a modular minas tirith broken into 4/5 smaller builds would be great. Read some great ideas in the comments from battle packs to Bree. The prancing pony or green dragon would be awesome

if you check the reviews the set doesn't actually come in a packing box, they ship it just as it is and so customers have had theirs arrive with holes, rips, bends and even missing bags and pieces because of this

And then in the end the smaller sets will be GWPs and Brick Heads or something 😂

Where exactly did you get this confirmation? Bag end is D2C so it should be expensive Only other thing I saw confirmed is another Icons set so chances are it will also be expensive

Bag End would work beautifully as a Funwhole set with their lights, but as Lego? Not very interesting. Better to do Minas Tirith, Helm's Deep, Edoras, Moria, etc.

Picked up the falcon and amazon. 50 is the lowest I've seen. Will be sad to see thise Indy sets go. They were all great and not too pricey.

The Rivendell set isn't that great, at least in US dollars. That's $457 USD. You can get the set with double insider points (i.e., $50 worth of Lego dollars) and two GWPs that can probably be sold for $75-$100.

Wish US had the same deals as UK. Ugh missed the sanctum secorium and if LOTR was on sale I snag it

depending who Lego consider the target of these sets. I haven't heard from any of my friends or family that their kids are excited about upcoming LOTR sets. SW have bigger audience across all age groups. No matter how I love the world created by Tolkien, I think Lego will continue with those high price tag set - Edoras, Shire, Minas Tirith, Enrance to Moria, because its mostly the AFOL that would be interested in buying this. I would love to see diorama for the bridge of khazad dum scene (that could look epic on the display )

My top choice for a small set would be a bridge of khazad dum scene at $100 similar to the Jurassic park T-Rex break out.

I'm hoping with the revival of LOTR sets lego brings back or makes some new Hobbit Legos as well

I feel like a good middle-ground between cheap and expensive lotr sets would be diorama sets (like those in Lego: star wars). Theoden's throne, the Doors of Durin and Saruman's Throneroom are just a few options that i think would be great: dioramas have a lot of potential

There are two Icons sets that I'd instabuy: The Argonath and Meduseld. I guess Bag End is cool too. I'll probably spend more on smaller sets than I would on Icons as I can just pick them up while grocery shopping lol
