As singaporeans who are around your age, we totally get your sentiment before and after visiting China. We spent 2.5 months cycling through china, and honestly, it's the most impressive country we've been to. 10/10 videography. we love supporting local!!
I totally feel you! I am literally on a plane leaving China now but the last 2 weeks I spent in China was AMAZING 💯 should never really judge before actually experiencing it!
Looks like Jetstar has found the right person to showcase China. I have been wanting to travel to China but was unsure of the conditions there. Thanks for the great video. Looking forward to more content from China!
just nice I'm going china this year, doing the 2D1N tiger leaping gorge hike that looks really amazing. You should definitely cover china more and check out places like zhangjiajie!
Glad you liked the hotpot! Funny thing I wanted to share, every time I visit Singapore, my colleagues there always take me to hotpot, thinking it will make me feel home. But as someone from Wuxi, where we eat Wuxi (generally known as main part of Shanghainese) cuisine, hotpot feels more like SG's idea of Chinese food than something culturally familiar to me. Thanks for the video! Wuxi is a city with great food, especially for those who love sweet Shanghainese/Wuxi flavors!
Hi Shawn! My friend and I decided to explore Wuxi upon seeing your video. I was wondering if you could share which hotel(s) you guys stayed at and how the experience was. Thanks a million!!
Hey that's awesome! We stayed at a couple of hotels because of the different locations, unfortunately I don't have info on all of them but we stayed at Radisson RED when we were at the Wuxi city centre. Really modern and comfortable.
Hotel Nikko Wuxi is definitely a better place for you to stay as it's pretty easy to reach out for all the attractions. By the way, it has an amazing backyard which is also a riverside senery to spend nighttime with your family.
hi, may i ask because i tried google there is no information. I plan to visit Pegasus Watertown from downtown Wuxi, how to get there by public transport? where is the nearest subway/ bus stop station? Is it accessible by subway? thanks advance
Unfortunately google doesn’t work well for China (apple maps work when you’re in the country). Only a couple of hotels appear at Nianhua bay on google so that may help
It's great to have you in China! I really hope you get the chance to come back soon. I'd love to show you around and give you a new perspective on things. plz contact me ❤😃

@@shawneydepp Is it difficult to travel to other parts of Wuxi if I were to choose only to stay at one hotel?
@@shawneydepp seems like most of the tourist attractions can be easily reached by the Wuxi Metro?

Thank you InsaneWeihang! 👊🏻
I feel like the crowds in China are something you can’t run away from, especially if it’s somewhere popular.
True that. Sometimes it’s a great atmosphere, other times it feels overwhelming
Wow! China's just simply amazing and beautiful! ❤👍👏💪2024-7-21

Visit China during the right time. You want to avoid the China summer school holidays and public holidays!
Can’t imagine what the crowds would be like during the holidays

That drone shot at the end was so scary T.T

Hi,I am a journalist from China. Could I have the opportunity to interview you?
The whole place feels very “touristy”.. sketchy cable car, fake Venice.. strange Tao Huey…
Luv ur content… just not so much the place
Well that’s China for you 🤷🏻♂️ hahah
