    Pivoting pentatonic shifting. New stuff to practice with shapes you already know in a rock/blues setting. So cool!

    Great! I love 9:03. I just go ahead and replicate that .... after a few more years of practicing.

    A masterclass organized by a mouthpiece company, and there wasnt a single question about sound/tone production and control. None of the pentatonic shifting is gonna work in a musical context if your sound sucks. Great job by Chad tho, i just wish people would ask more relevant questions. "How did you get rid of your neighbors" are you serious?? Youve got a master of the modern tenor sound right in front of you, and you ask that??

      I love that there are people like Mr. NPC in this world. People who reek of arrogance and are so comfortable judging others...and yet have almost nothing to fall back on in their own lives. I’ve toured the world for almost 60 years, fielding questions from all corners of the globe. The ONLY ignorant questions were those involving racism, bias and judgment. Maybe Mr. NPC could take another look in the mirror.

    There is nothing unethical about informing the saxophone community that there are other alternatives when considering purchasing a 3D mouthpiece. Isn’t that is why there is a “comment “ tab in place ?

    • @Syosmusic
      @Syosmusic  3 роки тому

      I can think of many reasons why there would be a comment section and none of them include outright approaching the ambassadors of a direct competitor on their own channel. But you do you.

      @@stilo2703 I get it. But a lot of people go to master classes to hear musicians play. I guess you can't please everyone. He doesn't strike me as the flexing kind though. And even if he was: damn, he's got a lot to flex about.

      I haven't found many players that are able play a thousand notes per second and at the same time know how NOT to do that too much. I really don't connect with virtuoso players. I keep feeling, oh men you are great you already established that you are a monster player, now slow down. Pick just a few notes and make them mean something.
