This is the same martial philosophy I learned in an Aikido context; you can't move anyone (such as in entries and throws) if you can't make the connection. Much of what makes martial arts work is parasympathetic and psychosomatic as well as the biomechanical. Anyways, thanks for the insight from a wing chun perspective.
