That was my thought too. LOL. Although there was one bank that a store I worked at would send us stacks of bills that were not all facing the same way. I do not know how many times we would end up getting a stack of ones with a $50 in the middle of it.
If she's a cleaner, she probably gets paid in cash a lot. And I've seen people just toss their change and receipt into their shopping bag at the cashier check out. I bet she was someone who did that, then came home exhausted and thought "I can't right now...I'll deal with it later". It's a good thing Barbie went through all the random bags.
As someone with generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder and depression, it is highly offensive every time someone claims living like this is caused by mental illness. My home is spotless and I have never seen anyone else with mental disorders live like this. This is caused by much more than mental illness. Though I like watching the cleaning, I am sick of channels like this exploiting mental illness to get clicks. Every single video has some form of mental illness in the title, stigmatizing it and causing everyone to think the mentally ill are slobs. Just say you’re cleaning a house. We don’t care about the excuses. If you don’t want people to blame laziness or plain being a pig, stop blaming mental illness.
@GinaOhNo I'm very glad that you are able to keep your house clean despite struggling with your challenges. However, many people are not able to do this because they have different issues. This is personal for me too because my daughter lives with bipolar, anxiety and ADD. It's taken almost 20 years for her to find solutions (medication, body doubling, and more) that allow her to be able to function the way she wants to. Bless Barbie for giving this woman a re-set. If I had understood my daughter's problems better years ago, I would have done the same. Please be more empathetic and careful in your responses in the future. Not everyone is like you, and personal criticism does not help them, but only prevents them from reaching out for help.

I don't feel it's stigmatizing it - they're acknowledging it exists and then helping the person. That's compassionate to me. Your comment? Not so much.

When I cleaned out my mother's house after she died, I found over $12,000 in marked envelopes hidden around the house. We couldn't throw anything away before checking it out. We even had to look through her books. It was sad. Bless you, Barbie.

Honestly, until the very end I was believing that the floor was just SO stained that it couldn't be cleaned back to normal. But realizing that was just the actual color, I didn't know whether to laugh or cry that someone was weird enough to design a floor that purposefully looked like it was covered in dookie.

Some people gasp that a cleaner would have a dirty home, but when you're depressed it can be very hard to come home and do the very same thing you just did for 8 hours. It's like you never punched out. It makes home not feel like a respite from the rest of the world
@jamiekewl2361 nah, that's just a bad habit of dumping the sales change into the shopping bag instead of pocket/wallet/purse. Then ADHD/depression makes one forget its existence. If you can get by without those few dollars, you don't miss it. Which is a good lesson that everyone can save money. Even if it's only $5 per week, it eventually adds up 😉
This one really made me sad for this lady. I think it was the fact that she was a cleaner and the money everywhere. That says a level of pain that is hard to understand. I hope your cleaning of her home continues her healing.
When I started cleaning homes there was one of my customers that were very affluent, they would leave money everywhere. I would have to lift it to dust and polish. When my baby was due I stopped working and explained with plenty of notice that I would not return when my baby was born. They came to my home with a massive bouquet of flowers and a huge tip. Begging me to return and I could bring my baby with me. Then they informed me that I was the only cleaner that had never stolen from them….

Barbie! I really enjoyed the decluttering part of this video. It was nice that you were able to sift through and keep a lot of items, where as, other times the homes are so dirty, you have to trash most of it. Finding the money was like a treasure hunt, finding money in paper that could have been thrown away accidentally! Pulling out the fridge and stove to clean was so satisfying. Great job and attention to detail. I love that you went the extra mile and got handy man Johnny there to replace the kitchen cabinet doors and fix the loose runners for the drawers. Were you able to put all the refrigerator drawers, shelving, etc… back in to the fridge? I’m sure you did. Top 10 video for results and satisfaction scale! ❤❤❤

About 50 years ago, I was divorced and had 3 children. I had an electric bill that was due and didn't have the money to pay it. I was thinking about that and what to do so they didn't cut off my electricity as I was driving down an alley, Another alley intersected it. In this intersection, I saw what appeared to be folded dollar bills. I thought they were probably play money, but decided to stop and look. There was a breeze blowing, but the money wasn't moving. The money was real and there was the exact amount I needed to pay that bill. Thank you Lord!

Depression causes so many unbelievable situations. Watching your channel has enlightened me on this subject. Grateful that I'm on more of the obsessive cleaning side of things.
