I believe you should thread the tow hook in much farther than is shown in the video. Probably until all of the threads are engaged.

Please do a public service video that explains (warns) not to tow the C8 unless the Dual Clutch Transmission is in neutral. Then please do a public service video that explains that it is near impossible to put the C8 in neutral unless the motor and transmission are both operational...which makes one wonder why one would need a tow hook.

Where are the actual tow hooks located or do they not come with the car? I looked for mine yesterday and can't find it anywhere.

I am a new C8 owner.
Are you aware of any precautionary measures that must be taken before trying to push or pull/tow a C8?
It is my understanding that severe damage/destruction to the transmission will occur if the car is moved without disengaging the transmission in the appropriate manner?

if the DCT does not go into neutral, it WILL have to be skated onto a flatbed. No other way to do it. You will be flinching as the flatbed drags it up.

GM does NOT provide you with the tow hook for your Corvette.....yet they provide a cutout to store it. And trust me... you WILL need the tow hook for your C8.
