I believe you should thread the tow hook in much farther than is shown in the video. Probably until all of the threads are engaged.

A carry on at Delta, AA, Jet Blue & United is 22"x14"x9". A carry-on at Frontier or Southwest is 24"x16"x10". It would be helpful to know what size the carry-on that fits in the frunk is.

GM does NOT provide you with the tow hook for your Corvette.....yet they provide a cutout to store it. And trust me... you WILL need the tow hook for your C8.

Except the passive door lock setting keeps being lost. I can never rely on the car to be lock when I walk away and it's a security issue, if one presumes it is locked each time. Corvette don;t seem big on making themselves available for direct customer service either.

This video just came in handy. I started the C8 on Thursday and everything seemed fine (no diagnostic emails or anything) and on today (Monday) the car gives me all kinds of alerts and eventually sent a ‘critically low battery’ email. So I had to figure out how to release the front trunk and with this information it took a little bit to find the loop but it is now charging. Now I just need to go over it again and figure out how to access the car with the dead battery. Your video was helpful so I will review it again and try the steps now that I have time.

don't overlook reindexing the power windows if you totally lost power

Android Auto does Not need a USB cable to work with the C8. Bluetooth connects all of Android Auto, unlike older systems.

I am a new C8 owner. Are you aware of any precautionary measures that must be taken before trying to push or pull/tow a C8? It is my understanding that severe damage/destruction to the transmission will occur if the car is moved without disengaging the transmission in the appropriate manner?

I thank you for this as I just had a dead battery situation, but those panels are much harder to remove than your video indicates. The panels are sharp and you need to wear gloves because those clips are so tight and there are so many of them! The owner's manual is worthless to understand how the clips work and where they are located.

Please do a public service video that explains (warns) not to tow the C8 unless the Dual Clutch Transmission is in neutral. Then please do a public service video that explains that it is near impossible to put the C8 in neutral unless the motor and transmission are both operational...which makes one wonder why one would need a tow hook.

Are the GT1 seats more comfortable for daily driving than the GT2 seats assuming they are both in a 2LT? I'm considering the LT3 but I can't choose GT1 seats and if they are more comfortable that's more important to me.
