what are your thoughts on katas? i have read what Bruce wrote in the Tao of jkd. i also have heard he was the best person at doing Katas. would have someond play 3/4 and do one and then switch to 6/8 and he would double time it. i think you cant learn from just Katas as effectively as if you did drills and sparring. i do also think the forms in wc train attributes that i didn't get from boxing practice. i have been looking at moontague yt channel he does a fa ging shake when he punches. erle is demonstrating tai chi chuan and bagua. i started doing some punch and make your fist close from your body twisting not your hand. i really think i gained a ton from the amount i did. my punches are snappy er now. i was just really interested in your take on Katas and forms.
