I must have watched this at least 20 times. I know I need to buy a couch, but this looks like so much more fun to build. Though I doubt my shaky hands could do the A-frame.
I have got to ask. I am having sooo much trouble reeving up the derrick to the boom (haven't gotten to the jib). I've tried just doing it manually (fingers and putty) and I get one or two wraps, then something goes wrong and something jumps off. It's getting them on the pulleys and past the pulley bars (whatever they're called) that's the problem. The A-frame actually ended up pretty easy because somehow I got the string to stick in the pulleys. No such luck with the derrick/boom pulleys. Any tips? (tried a needle (can't get the thread through), tried putty on the end of the string, and now supergluing a piece of wire bread-tie to the string and the tolerances still don't let it fit) Oh. While I'm at it. Is the Jib diagram in the instructions correct (every other pulley)? Or should I use all of the pulleys for accuracy?
Awesome crane, and yet another great review by Cranes Etc. TV! I Like your videos, even though I probably will never be able to afford any of these models!
I was wondering...you said this models big hook is reeving up on 2 winch drums so my question is do you need to operetae 2 drums to keep it in parallel level or are both being turned at the same time? if you understand my question!
Hello I am a big fan of your channel and I have that model. I tried 4 times the first part and never done correctly. Can you explain with more detail that part ? Thank you very much
+craneinsane USA From memory NZG supply a few spare links with the model. If not, then probably best to go back to your dealer to get the problem resolved.
One of mine came loose from the factory, one link too many, as well as one link broken. Took me forever to get it put back together. Scotch tape helped me keep everything together while finally getting the final length all put together. (just be careful when taking off the tape, or you'll do it twice)
***** Great review again. It is beautiful model with loads of detailing. Thanks looking forward to next one. Is any chance to review any of WSI's car transporters if You can get one? Regards from Scotland

+Vexrazor If two drums are used they have to both be turned at the same time. Same as the real crane.
