I have never had a crane model in my entire life (I'm into agricultural models), but honestly they are so incredible and I just have to get one one day. They look so impressive and how can't one be in awe looking at the real machines?
Another great review, I'm hesitant on getting one at the moment, I'm hoping a spacex version comes out, as it is the same configuration. Also hoping nzg fixes a couple small issues in the next batch, like very loose handrails, sagging cab. It is also very expensive for what you get, compared to the older lr1600. Yes it is taller but you get a whole lot more crane with the 1600 than with the 11000. Just my opinion. I think if the Derrick kit came with it, then the price would be about right.
The loose handrails only really come in to play when you start moving the model. For a fixed pose you can get a good result but yes, more consistent fixings would be better. The cab tilt on my model is OK. The price issue is interesting because the net weight of model in the box is 50% higher than the LR 1600. Add in a modest 20% inflation since the LR 1600 first came out, and the price actually seems sensible. But of course the LR 11000 is so much bigger so you do not get as many configurations out of the box for the weight.
The pieces provided seem to follow a crawler Crane assembly on site. A company worker said for a Liebherr 13.000 they need 56 trucks for the main parts and outsource the weights to third parties.
I just got mine, and I am happy with it, for the most part. The plastic retainer clips for the pins are pretty brittle, and the instructions could use some serious work.
A stunning model! Would be amazing with the superlift and ballast bogie as well as a luffer! Or even a boombooster. It has so much potential in it. But all that reeving is manic! It would send my brain on an ejection course out of my skull
Well ill have to build mine minus one boom section my ceiling height is only 8' . I hope the Sarens version will not have the loose car body very important for a heavy crane for that to be sturdy. Love to see a video on how to move these large crane models so you don't damage or have your reeving become undone. Like where the best place to grab the model . My biggest fear with these large models is when you have to do home improvements like new flooring or new windows and you have to move these models to another room. I don't being to have to disassemble these once they are built.
I have lift and shifted this model and it is very heavy and therefore awkward. If you build it ceiling height then getting through doorways is another challenge. Booming down to far makes the model unstable so you end up tilting the whole model forwards and then the counterweights want to slide off. The key is to keep tension on the A-frame ropes at all times. So I lift the boom on the top edge (not from underneath) so the tension in the pendants is kept on.
Cecilla pena i am not sure of what it max lift cap with length of boom sure not 85? Could there be a 100m twin boom kit? Short circle lift but heavy? Close to 2.4 meters is wow for a model ae 👍
Yeah, well, I think for the fans of the big crawler cranes then they’ll be pleased to think that they might be stronger than just a hope that they could be able to expand their model in the future if they buy the extension sets that you come out with, so let’s look forward to that and hope that comes out.

Very true im gping to leave it for a while too 👍

Pls When You Will Review The New Liebherr HS ?

I don't know why I can't edit my comments anymore like before when you notice a typo?

Do you think that in the future there’ll be some extension sets available for that crane?

of course. NZG wants more $ from us. figure in another $500 for the derrick and luffing jibs and another $100 for each additional section ...lol..
Speaking of a derrick I hope the extension kit includes a derrick.
NZG told me that there will be kits for this model. I hope it will be a derrick with V-frame and variotray.
I've waited for this review since BAUMA. Thank you very, very much!
What do you actually do with all the models after you reviewed them?
The models are immediately shredded to reduce the number of models made and increase the resale value for collectors.
Wow, ive always wanted to see a big liebherr crane model!
i thought there were some quality problems with it initially?
I can only show the model I have, and I am happy with it.
It cannot beat the LR1600/2 which is cheaper, more configurations. LR11000 is a nice crane but is too simple for the price.
Pointless comparison
agree with you.. with that price, should have more configurations. At least this model should come with derrick so its more worth with a price..
@@chan27 esatto, per quel prezzo avrebbero dovuto mettere anche il derrick
Where can I buy this please 😢
See the video description for a link.
Any idea on when the LR13000 will come out? Or the XCMG XGC88000 crawler with arguably the largest amount of counterweight ever
Probably never. Many people already complain about the price of this model so a much bigger model would cost much more.
where do you get models like this at?
See the video description for a link.
Why no SDB or SDWB configuration?
Maybe extension kits will offer different configurations.
Will be video about Liebherr LR 13000 LEGO version?
It does not look very realistic.
Very cool,how much.
Probably in next few year we can see 11350 model, idk
This is the crane used to assemble the second MegaBay at Starbase.
WHERE CAN I BUY THOSE CRANES
