  • In an attempt to satisfy my want to can while also learning how feasible it will be to can on weekdays during harvest season, I've challenged myself to get one canning project done a night Monday-Friday this week!

    I was really hoping from your title that you would tell us what you put into your pizza sauce. Even without knowing, I still enjoyed this video!

      I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I hesitated to include what I put in it since it's not an approved canning recipe, just my go to for sauce that I personally feel comfortable canning. Maybe I should share in the future and just put a disclaimer that it's not approved😄

      Yes, I think it would be important to disclose that it’s not an approved canning recipe if you know that it’s not. IMHO

    This video was good to see. I have the tendency to think I can get more done than is possible. I’m trying to limit myself to preserving only one thing per day.

      I have the same problem as well sometimes and then end up staying up wayyy to late to wrap everything up! Lol luckily I’ve been able to keep the late nights restricted to weekends so far this year.

    I would definitely need to stick to water bath canning or dry canning. This is something I'm going to try because my weekends disappear so quickly.
