Ahem… kiss her… all. The. Damn. Time. Don’t focus on the differences that manifest in sex. Focus on the similarities that manifest when we kiss. We both engage emotionally when we kiss. We both desire one another more when we kiss. Kissing is the key to everything. Sex isn’t the foundation of good sex, or even a good relationship, but kissing is. I wouldn’t say women are different, but they respond as the counterpart to the male. Their system is optimized as response, not calling. As a man, you are the first to feel emotion, and desire, and even love. Women only feel this way when engaged with emotion, desire, and love. But the first thing is emotion. With both men and women. It is in sex that the order of these things can become chaotic if things aren’t in order. They all naturally align and come in order when kissing. Kissing for the sake of kissing is more important than sex for the sake of sex. Kissing will create a state of calm and relaxation and vulnerability that opens up to further intimacy, but it won’t be necessary because kissing is already so wonderful you don’t need anything else. Kissing is the cornerstone of good relationship, not sex.

I had a Sunday School teacher at church explain it to me this way. She said, before you find the one, you have to be the one.
What this book reminds us is that being the one doesn't end at "I do" it only begins.
My take-away from this is to dance more. Even if I'm bad at it, do it with testosterone fueled confidence, LOL.

Recently went to a 3 day meeting. Long story made short. I am no Adonis, she was a plus size woman. A beautiful plus size. Second evening we had dinner together. Laughed, talked, good conversation. We did get holding kissing close. It was the greatest evening I ever had because she was all giving to me and I to her. This has happened with other plus size women. So, I don't look to the slim types anymore. I have changed my parameters.

I'd push back on being toxic. Don't fear confrontation, but do it in a healthy way.
If the other person is being toxic, call it out. Call out someone on their BS, don't engage with it.
Something like, I see you are upset. When you are ready to discuss this in a healthy way, I'm available. But, I'm not going to sit here and take this behavior, I expect more from you.
And then leave.
If your wife (or husband for the ladies reading here) engages in toxic behavior, tell her you love her, but you don't like nor will you stick around for this behavior, and then leave until she can re-engage with more healthy behavior.

Yesss!! Let her know you find other women attractive. If she is rude to you, make a joke and laugh it off or give her a little slap on the ass or something to let her know she can't bully you - because nothing kills attraction faster than a man who can be pushed around - this is very important!!
I don’t agree with be a rock. You should tell her to cut the shit and that relationships require sex. Then implement consequences when there is no sex. You can’t take cheating off the table when they decide to take sex off the table . Otherwise what is your bargaining chip. No sex in marriage with no good reason is unacceptable. Period. Relationships are not just about love and attraction, they are about power. Nothing makes a woman less attracted to you then feeling she has all the power in the relationship.
Also, stop doing things that you do unconditionally. Refuse to take out the trash if the sex life doesn’t improve. Stay at work late. Tell her you don’t like her cooking. Make her know you are unhappy at every opportunity and will be until you are having sex again. You can’t always make your spouse attracted to you but you can make them afraid to lose you which often leads to attraction.

This is similar vibrational frequency of r*pe, like the kind where we just freeze and let the guy do it because we’re scared. If you’re only looking to get sex then this will work, if you actually want her to desire you then a different technique would be better.
@@ryanschneer sure you can. No need to discard one's character. You can say you didn't sign up for a sexless marriage and then enforce the boundary.
If one has tried the suggestions here and she still doesn't find you attractive, then maybe a separation is in order. That doesn't mean you have to cheat. But you can go live with a friend for a while and see if she really misses you.
If she doesn't, stop trying to force it. Divorce in an ethical fashion and move on.
If she realizes she is losing someone who is valuable, then she may respond positively.
Divorce isn't the end of the world.
Yes, it sucks, I went through one 20 years ago. She had the affair. I can see why she wasn't attracted.
Yet, none of that excuses betrayal. It explains the attraction to cheating, but doesn't justify it.
LIkewise, don't cheat because ultimately, you betray yourself and send the message to those who know you that you are not trustworthy.
