Definitely seems pretty cool. I carry a gerber eab utility knife for work small compact and folds so it's comfortable to use. Great video 👍

Nice, I have the Gerber EAB as well and it’s a really great option. Thanks!

I looked at these for quite a while as I have their mini pen in titanium. The pen is really well built and a nice piece. I did not even put two and two together regarding the whole pocket clip and left hand carry. I’m glad I watched your video first as I don’t really care for the blade exchange like what you said. I have been carrying my County Comm one like yours, but when I’m lazy I grab my Wally World Sheffield one that weighs nothing and has an axis type lock. It fun to fidget with and only costs like $5.
I really like that hank, but looks like I missed out. That hank is going to look sweet with that curator.
Thanks for sharing and Happy Fourth!

Yeah, I was really surprised none of the reviews I read mentioned that it was left hand carry only. I have one of the pens as well and it’s excellent (the Pete’s Pirate Life collab one). Thanks for checking it out and Happy 4th!

Nice. If you get the chance could you do a video on that one? I also wonder what this months hank will be since I believe it’s the 40th one?

Yeah, plan on putting it in a pouch video I’m doing soon if I can find it. The problem is it’s already in a pouch and I can’t remember which one 😂

I also don’t like the blade exchange process. They do make a non one handed version that’s much easier to use. Probably the best premium utility blade knife I’ve used is the Exceed Designs Tirant. One handed flipper and easy blade exchange. It’s also titanium and around $65 on Amazon.

Nice, definitely going to check out the Tirant, thanks for the recommendation!

If you get some medical forceps they will help with blade changes similar to changing a scalpel blade use the forceps to grip the blade it would save unscrewing it every time

Good to know, I have a few different pairs I use for feeding my snakes so will try that next time. Thanks for the tip!

Ill take the Itokey knock off that does literally the exact same thing and doesnt piss you off to the point of throwing the pos away when you cant swap a blade.

I just saw that Itokey on Amazon, I may check it out. Thanks for the suggestion!

Your paying for the metal on the tpt

That’s definitely part of it but I think there’s also a little bit of a price bumb being BigIDesign. Just something you have to accept similar to the Benchmade tax I guess.

I’m sorry but I don’t recommend the TPT. I have it, and if you want to switch a blade you need to struggle with it. I have some of big idea design, and every item have an issue. If you want a good utility knife + very good pry bar I recommend on Tactical & portable.

No need to be sorry, I mentioned the same issue with changing the blade, I ended up having to disassemble it to change it which isn’t ideal. the recommended method of changing the blade seems super dangerous. Thanks for checking it out!

I have to say that after 4-5 times it much easier to switch the blade to be honest, but it’s still dangerous. For 85$ utility blade they should have to though a better and safer way to switch the blade. Regardless I love what you doing, and I appreciate your work.
