On the Gerber Prybrid, I think what you are calling a seatbelt cutter is actually a wire stripper/core cutter. That's what it's showing on the Gerber website.
I have the Hart Pair. The hex fits 1/4" bits and it has a stop so the bit doesn't go through. I love them, I mean you can't really complain for the price. (Plus it even has a bottle opener LOL.)
Hey Mojo, if you can’t find that Milwaukee one where you live I’d be happy to send you one if you’d pay the shipping. They’re not very much here and readily available even in my smaller town that I live in.
I believe the Olight Otacle uses proprietary blades, not the standard razor blades, you can buy anywhere. You have to turn that safety screw, counterclockwise and remove it, to remove the blade. This one is a no go for me, due to the proprietary blades and the clumsy blade replacement interface.
Great set of UBlade. Thank you for looking after us blue collar people. All of them are affordable & functional. It's not hard to attach a pocket clip or lanyard to the Gerber. Cheers for sharing mate. Thanks from Australia.
I’m always trying to think of budget options. Seems like the expensive stuff keeps getting more expensive. Already looking into clips for the Prybrid. Thanks for your comment!
Thanks for the suggestions. I’d recommend the Milspin Magnus utility knife that is made in USA. I got it in stainless steel at release, but also available in brass now too.
I have the Gerber, Slidewinder and Milwaukee (several versions of the Milwaukee) and like all 3. The Gerber slide action seems a bit gritty to me. It could be just the one I have, I don't know. The Hart models, I was unaware of but will purchase soon, as I'm kinda a razor knife fan boy. Gerber makes a smaller Prybrid X model, that uses #11 scapel blades, which I have as well.
Run through a couple of the Gerber Prybrids. I want to love it, but it's not as durable as it should be. I keep going back to the EAB. It's just about perfect, if the blade replacement wasn't quite such a pain.
The EAB looks like a good one, I’ve never had one. Was the durability with the blades only on the Prybrids, or the overall build? Thanks for your comment.
I have the Gerber EAB and EAB Lite and I agree having to remove the screw to replace the blade is a pain. I bet models of razor knives that have such an old fashion blade replacement interface, don't sell as well, now that there are models of razor knives, that don't require a seperate tool, to change the blade, i.e. a screwdriver to remove the screw.
i saw the hart on another channel, gonna check it out. the outdoor edge kinda sucks cuz that orange button is way too sensitive. the hybrid has a huge downfall not having a clip!!
It is. It does have premium materials, but I just don’t think it justifies the price. $60 would be acceptable, $50 would be a great value in my opinion.
Chad, check out the Rovyvon - clones: S11s. They are about $12-$13 (or less), compared to a similar Rovyvon A8, Prices are Amazon prices. I think S11 may refer to the type of circuit board configuration. Hi from Arkansas.
I wouldn’t say that the tool itself is useless, but to me at that price point it IS useless to me. Because I’m not paying that much for a simple razor cutting tool.

You are correct, while editing I meant to note that on the screen. Good catch.

Right! Hey thanks for watching.
Im loving the Milwaukie one and the Gerber. Im heading to my local hardware store to see if we stoke the Milwaukee one.

I will take another look at that one but I believe you may be right. That’s a shame too. That one would be off this list had I realized it.
@@LandmanEDC If Olight changed the blade to the standard type, I'd add the Otacle to my collection, but until/if, they do, it's a non-starter for me.

I am a subscriber and look forward to your videos.
Yeah man, appreciate you watching and your comments!

Mil spin has been sending out some emails full of hateful rhetoric .I'd go with the manker utility knife from milspin
The edge outdoor, I recently got it man oh man I love that utility blade cutter
It’s very good. And the price is perfect. I mean, it’s a razor blade holder. You don’t need something crazy for that.
@@LandmanEDC I used to be a huge knife guy but since I got that utility knife I’m rethinking about a regular pocket knife now
I’m starting to think that as well. With pocketknives going up and up and up in price too I wondering if it’s worth it.

The slide on the Prybrid is sticky, but I appreciate that because it does lock into place. I’ll have to check out that Prybrid X!
Got the Hart pair yesterday while at Walmart. Thanks for pointing those out.
Absolutely, my pleasure. It literally replicates the TPT in functionality, but obviously not in price and materials.

Agree with you on both. That Outdoor Edge retracts way too easily and the Prybrid NEEDS a clip.
Cost of the TPT slide is ridiculous.

I hope they also have a french fry fork on the other side of the blade. lol
Lolz

Right on man! Thank you!
tpt is a joke, totally useless
