I've watched a lot of instructional videos about editing with Premiere Pro on YT. Yours are surpassed by NONE. Clearly, you put a lot of effort into making concepts and step-by-step instructions both understandable and visually appealing. No quitting, Javier!
I'll heartily second "J King's" sentiments. And add, in a world of subscribed UA-cam channels, I await the arrival of your new videos more than any other!
very informative and straight to the point as usual. Thank you so much. ❤️ .. I promise whenever I have the ability to purchase the package I will definitely do.
this filmstrip really helps me to in one of my youtube documentaries which I'm currently working on. it's pretty simple and sleek and you have explained it greatly. thanks and kindly create videos like this in the future.
Javier, this video is packed with good information and great explanations. Even if we don't use these specific effects, the techniques to make these effects are useful for other effects and just using Premiere. Thanks for showing us how to achieve these cool effects that we might not need right now, but we will want to create later.
just a small tips for my fellow beginners out there: For the levels what I did I just reverse what I have from the beginning manually counting the frames distance from each marked keyframes. Because I want it uniformed something like that I dunno xD Thank you for sharing
Amazing VIDEO!! I tried to use the effect "Offset" in the adjustment layer but It didnt work at all. I think the keyframes are not working in the layer because if I use de offset effect in a video, it works totally find. Could you help me please !!! JAVIER
Almost all of the tools work for the transition. But as soon as I put Lens or Level in the layer the whole thing stop working. The pictures don't scroll anymore when I add these two tools into the layer. Doesn't it work anymore with Premiere 2024? Because I did the same transition last year with Premiere 2023
Hey, I have quite a pressing issue. In the first step of adding the "offset" effects, the adjustment layer animation doesn't seem to be changing the video beneath it. What can be causing this?
Awesome…. Maybe you can answer this say if I shoot in 60-120fps cause I wanna slow some shots down in post, now I drag everything into a 24fps timeline and do I just do a speed ramp on the clips I wanna slow down … I hear some ppl say just make all your clips to 24fps then they all slow but I only wanna slow down certain parts .. and if drag 60-120fps on a 24fps will it be choppy when not slowed down on some clips ?
It's personal taste. However you want to do it, whether that be interpret all the footage at once or just speed ramp the select ones that you want. I cover everything about slow motion in this video: ua-cam.com/video/MmQWf7mZe2k/v-deo.html
when I exported the video I noticed that the filmroll didnt end up in the right position, the black area between the frames ended up in the middle of the screen. Any ideas how to fix this?
So I'm running into an odd issue when trying this. After I create my adjustment layer and add it to the sequence, there's a thin border of dead pixels created (only during the transition). Its like like the adjustment layer is slightly scaled down and what's behind it is just transparent. Is there a way to just make it black? (Or any color). Edit: I think it has to do with the edge feather
All programs are just math. You can simply do it in your motion or any other effect. If you want to double anything, just put *2 next to any number and that's it.
In after effects they allow you to do this but in premiere unfortunately it doesn’t let you put equations in the parameters and hit enter to do the math for you. I wish it were a feature though.

I think what would really sell this transition is a good vhs rewind sound effect, or reel to reel film slap
i learned from you a lot thanks
There's a lot to learn just by watching the process, even if you don't think you'll have a use for this exact transition.

nice job my friend.
is there any way to adjust the transition to last longer or shorter without remaking it for different durations?

Hey, interesting videos as usual, if you can show us transitions like the channel " VOX "
Great idea! Love their stuff!
Hey Javier, great video! Do you think it's also possible to do this for a vertically filmed video?

Este preset ja pronto como você fez tem para venda?
Why in my edge feather it shows transparent instead of black?
discuss how to make transitions blur glitch
