DevilNeverCry honestly, mowing through a crowd of enemies on Legendary Dark Knight mode in DMC4SE with a MAX-Act Streak is probably the single most orgasmic feeling I’ve ever had or will ever know.
Tell me anyone: how can i use it to get a girlfriend? Because my ex left me for i have spent more time to learning DMC mechanics in a month than on her in three years.
Wow , thanks for breaking down those maneuvers .This will definetely make my gameplay spicier. Also , could you do a video showing the best way to deal with certain tougher enemies and how not to get hit at all. Nothing ruins the fun as getting hit for crazy damage on DMD.
Another good stylish mechanic for dodging I've been using is do part of an attack and dodge off to the side, it's not a regular dodge roll, but more of a side step
Holy man i played every dmc, not all through dmd but still quite good at the game. you on the other hand are inhuman. that speed at which u put so many mechanics together, i would only break my fingers
These are solid tutorials DevilNeverCry, will you do Balrog as well? It's a very awesome weapon but I think the switching can be a bit of a head spinner. Would love see what type of combos you can come up with for it.
This looks so awesome with turbo mode, I am curious as to where some good places to submit suggestions for dmc 5 would be, keep playing bloody palace and I thought of suggesting an option to where you could pick up to like maybe 6 tracks or so, and maybe put em in order or just have them play randomly with rounds that way you can keep your music fresh the entire time, love your channel too btw :)
Try to do the regular moves by themselves untill you find it easy. Then try to put them together after that. Don't try to do the hardest stuff right away.
Trying to Practice interrupting an opponents attack by keep mashing attacks the moment your about to get hit and when successful you get this sword clashing sound effect (think is a parry) which pushes your opponent off-guard but also gains rank doing so. But sometimes its hard to pull off as you don't mash attacks quick enough you get hit...tricky to practice .e.g Timing sword attacks with those Proto Angelo or even Cavaliere Angelo(Boss) is tricky to interrupt there attacks. Like trying to interrupt Hell Antenora charge attacks are bad enough since they go berserk on you when they glow purple.
Hey man if it's not too much to ask, can you please do a video on completing Bloody Palace as Nero? I always died on stage 97 to the furry. So tips and tricks would be greatly appreciated.
Try to keep at least 3 Ragtimes for when you get to that fight. Those Furies on DMD difficulty are truly a pain, so it's better not to take risks and kill them all with Ragtime's charged ability. Hope it helps! :)
@@rror1993 Nevermind, I finally managed to finish it yesterday :) but thanks for the advice. It does helps, I ended up keeping 5 ragtimes with me when I got to the stage.
R1 + R2 while on Devil Trigger will always try to pull two enemies, I typed "try" because some enemies cannot be pulled. When using Rawhide, R1 + O will be upgraded. You can notice this via the small particle effect that will appear every time you use the Wire Snatch while Rawhide is equipped.
DT launch and enemy then do Battery + Knuckle Bringer > JC as fast as you can to get the Jojo combo i can only do it twice not really useful but looks cool
I'd like a vid on that too, it's always been something I struggled with since DMC4. I kinda think I know how to do it though. It's all about positioning. Doing split after split will eventually bring you out of the JC window for the enemy. You'll notice if you JC a split it pushes you back a bit you don't stay in your same position. You can do consecutive ones (I've done like 10 in a row before no exceed on an empusa, but it was lucky. larger hitbox enemies will be easier ofc) however it's best to ensure you stay within range to JC using attacks that bring you closer to the enemy in between using split. Double down is also a lot better than split for staying airborne, it brings you closer to the enemy.
Thank you for all those tips it is probably going to help me reach Platinum also in your opinion which character is the more Noob friendly if you want to platinum the game
5months late but Nero>V>Dante. Nero is the easiest because he's as easy as V but has far more options. Easy inputs. EX act gives alot of damage for how easy it is in this game(though MAX seems harder), a attack for everything, most his moveset have easy parry windows, low orb investment early on helps him be ahead of V and Dante sooner and Devil Breakers allow you to pick whats best for your playstyle without having to worry about switching up styles or anything.Mission 1(iirc) is extremely farmable to get moves the moves in the game early on. V is pretty easy but has issues with enemies he cannot delete due to his moveset being focused on fast fights, not long ones. He lacks easy tools(like a easy parry move) and relies on Shadow for protection. Elsewise easy moves, good damage. however he has issues in SoS and DMD mode without Royal Fork making it difficult if you plan to farm orbs at higher difficulties with him for move set trophy. Nero has it easier though Dante has a hat that literally gives you free orbs. Dante has 4 styles(1 grants a addition attack button for swords and 1 for guns, other are defense/movement styles), 7 melee, 4(6 if each rocket launcher) guns without DLC all of which can be too overwhelming for new players. When playing Dante as a beginner I suggest playing 2 melee, 2 guns and get used to style switching early. Clearly the least noob friendly.
I've always found that Nero feels limited compared to the vast arsenal that Vergil, V, and Dante possess. Im not saying that Nero's mechanic is bad, quite the opposite, but he's still tricky. I often find myself accidently using his dash attack which I think limits me from pulling off his awesome combos. He has such a bombastic playstyle, I find it tricky to play patiently and reserve like V or Vergil. Anyways, fantastic video and thanks for the tips. Side question how many hours did all you put in before you got good with some of the characters?
So please don't impale me like Dante. But my current button setup has melee on square, blue rose on R2, breaker on triangle and bringer on circle. (Mostly so it's easy to get Bet and Showdown off.) Is the bringer knuckle valuable enough to change my layout to accommodate it's combos easier?.
So recently swapped 'gun' button with Vergil to LT and it's a gawd send. However what button should I swap with Nero for gun? Cos LT is really comfortable for exceed and LB for DT, RB for lock on is pretty wanted and RT for devil bringer feels natural, cos you need to let go of RB to use it anyway.
Thank you for the tutorial I would never have done calibur cancels without your help but there is one thing more i wanted to know is to how to connect a full charge shot with calibur cancel could you help me
There's already a video for that . Check it out. About the flying guard , turns out it can't be done on vanilla version of the game . You will need to install inertia mod for that.
Never played DMC games at all before, and if you're in the same boat, I think it's worth mentioning two things: 1. Learn the core mechanics of the playable characters first, this is mostly applicable to Nero and Dante. Keeping those interactions in mind it's almost second nature to figure out move combos. Learning the controls and button combos first without knowing the inner workings of their combat, it's trickier to see and understand what exactly you are doing. 2: Cheat your health if need be. Dying is pretty discouraging and if you can place your sole focus on dpsing it helps a lot. The way I actually learned how to play this game was through using a cheat engine for infinite health, and just playing the game (not in the void) so I don't have to panic about dying and weaning myself off of it (coming from someone who plays wow, button mashing isn't new or hard to me, nor is memorizing keybinds for a specific move set or opener) this way I was able to practice in the actual missions and look at enemies and feel out what kinds of moves would be good against them. Also some of the techniques you explained here, I think it's useful to learn these things first and the mechanics and how they play into each other rather than the keybinds/controls. After making it to mission 5 or so I didn't need it anymore once I had memorized all the combos and my 'rotation'. From here it's easier to learn dodging as well and make it your primary focus. I suck at using consoles and the controls on PC are much easier for me because you don't need to remap stuff just so you can press two buttons at once without forfeiting movement or camera. So if you can get past your gripes with cheats for the sake of learning, do it. I was able to complete DMD and SOS with almost no deaths and a bunch of S ranks compared to my friend who is a DMC veteran and a total snob with cheats, he even uses auto combo and I don't. This is my first DMC game! Do what you gotta do to learn. Use mods, cheats whatever as a kind of training wheels stage and completely stop using them after a while. Don't be a salty person like him lol
