I always felt that they made Vergil a bit too weak in DMC 5. He's hard for newbie casuals but it takes pros almost zero effort to defeat him. Especially since they made Royal Guard way easier to master.

How the fuck do you perform trick back sooooooo god damn flawlessly?! How do any of you incredible DMC5 players do it? It baffling because it's so hard for me to perform pushing both directions plus action like that with so much conviction and confidence without fucking it up.
You just have to make sure you’re facing the right direction and input the correct direction or you’ll end up tricking up. It’s really muscle memory at this point

funny thing is your no hit run got saved by block. which is great because at least block has some use. if only it was something like style that replaces the trick actions though (so a royal guard re-skin but with tighter frames and more reward)
