Love it. Needs to be a 1000R 72” wide long travel though. I got the cluster relocated from center to my steering wheel now on my 2019. The Talon should have came with a 3 Cylinder with around 130 HP if you wanted a non turbo. It also should have came with 32” tires stock. If you would have put a 3 cylinder in the Talon and then put a turbo in it, it would have been around 210 HP stock. Then you could say it’s the latest and greatest. Here it is 3 years into development and the Talon is 10 years behind. Love the duel clutch though. Wouldn’t change that for anything. It works excellent in the rocks. Don’t have to use my breaks hardly at all when going down hill. Put it in first gear when crawling uphill and the motor stays in its power band. The duel clutch definitely saves on fuel. My 7.5 gallons last me 2 days when I ride with my friends Polaris 1000 high lifters. They have to refuel twice. You can change the cosmetics all you want. That’s not the main problem. The main problem is its lack of power. Even with the Jackson Turbo it’s still under powered. The wildcat XX lays down 130 HP non turbo. Y’all put a turbo on the Talon and you only get 30 HP over a wildcat. LoL!! Fix the problem, don’t hide it with more cosmetics.
Mine comes in July 29th. What windshield are you installing and what items other than front bumper do you recommend so I can tell the dealer? Is a fuse box, horn etc necessary?
I own lots of Hondas….everything from a 110 S, Talon R and Goldwing…..and man oh man….what frustrates me with Honda…is…we added a new color….oh nope we changed a plastic mold….and we put the Old Amber Gauge where it should have been from the start…as 90% of owners have already done….but still the same old cluster from 10 years ago🥹
What’re u talking bout the 1000x is actually a tad bit quicker than a rzr 1000 cause the dct transmission Honda is usually disappointing in terms of power but they did a good job here with a naturally aspirated engine

if only they had real 4x4 Down fall is i-4wd in mud with mud tires.. It throws itself in 2wd leaving you stuck in clay mud !!!!
