This includes a PS pump replacement. Refer to another video if just replacing belt and tensioner. Do not disconnect PS pump hoses to replace belt and tensioner. Honda boldly states this in their Service manual

No mention of the nut on the back of the pulley.

Opening the power steering pump is stupid. Just take the whole pump off.

You didn’t tell everyone that when you remove the pulley Off the tensioner, the nut behind it falls down into the engine where it is very hard to find. it’s much easier to remove that motor mount which only has three bolts which are easily accessible in order to get out the hard to reach tensioner bolt. The pulley doesn’t really have to come off.

Hi could you tell me i have honda hrv 2019 and my dealership told me they heard some noise and told me i need to replace tensioner and it cost $625.00. Thats $189 part and 2 hours of work but does it really takes 2 hours to replace the tensioner? I dont hear any noise but if they hear maybe there is a noise its maybe just me who dont hear me! Or they just trying to rip me off!. How long it would take for you to replace the auto tensioner?

Setting a torque on the tensioner pulley is pointless because when you go to put the belt back on your putting more torque on that bolt. Anyone know a way around that? I had to come back and release that bolt a bit afterwards.
