Anthony was the hero here, going around the entire city convincing everyone to help to correct his mistake, humanity mistake, and complete their final job. When you have a child, you take responsibility and make sure it have a future. Archetype, your parents gonna give the future you deserve, now go, to the stars🌌
3:14 - It's worse than that, Eresh! Imagine humanity is in a relay race, but it intentionally sabotages the guy its supposed to pass the baton to (the next Prime Species) just because its jealous it can't be the one who 'wins' the race (even though we are technically on the same team)!
Ah, so finally we get a picture of what the general people from Misaki Town experienced when they're being Event Storaged away by Arcueid during Ciel's route in Tsuki:Re
Well this wasn't actually Event Storage, but event reduction. The citizens of Souya city couldn't have felt anything because they got transformed into planar events.
Continuing the trend of previous OC, Fujimaru almost become a Mooncancer. So the MoonCancer Class purpose is preventing humanity to continue develop, or i get it wrong?
The MoonCancer class and the MoonCancer phenomenon are different things, Kiara even said so a couple of chapters ago One is simply a Class devised by BB, the other is the process to halt progress
@@Nothingness4907I kinda get the phenomenon part but then, why the "class" itself exist? Its just exist because BB made it and named it like that? From what i get the Ordeal Call is about understand why extra classes are needed, like Alter Egos are needed to do a specific task and Avengers when we need a last resort weapon to fight injustice. So far i understand what the moon cancer phenomenon is, but i still dont grasp whats the purpose of the class named after it 😓
@@alesguer8651 I saw many people complain about OC3 for that very reason In all fairness this OC was out of nowhere and wasn't planned unlike Alter Egos, Avengers and Rulers So it could just be that the Ordeal was another thing the whole time and we didn't needed to deal with BB class
@@alesguer8651 To sum it up quickly: Moon Cancer the Phenomenon is a collective malignant will, actively sabotaging everything it perceives as causing the decline of its Prime Species, and forcing the timeline to be pruned if it deems the decline inevitable. Moon Cancer the Class is the world's way of combatting this by testing if the current Prime Species is fit to continue, and if not, help facilitate a new Prime Species while keeping the phenomenon in check so the timeline isn't erased.
The MoonCancer class is there to test the Prime Species’ ability to escape the Moon’s protection, as the Moon acts as an umbrella that keeps foreign threats out but also keeps humanity chained to Earth. This also means that they’re essentially there to facilitate the arrival of the next Archetype, who will inevitably succeed in breaking away and escaping to the cosmos as the successor of humanity. The Moon Cancer on the other hand is basically the opposite - it’s humanity’s collective unconscious that refuses to let go of the mantle of Prime Species. But a world with no successor Archetype is doomed to be pruned - in this case, the Moon Cancer is essentially the Pruning Phenomenon made manifest. It would sooner nuke the timeline than allow another Archetype to arise.
Wait, this is confusing: How can it make us stupid but Ai humanity turns into moon cancers that can attack us (where they specifically mention that they are intelligent despite having no combat ability)? Also why would it even affect us when we are humans that come from a parallel world that still has a future. So confusing, and appearently anything from the servant verse is unaffected because they aren't from earth i guess? (minus Ciel, who is like from 3 different verses including the servant verse, so it still affect her?).
Eh, that's been this OC's (ans summer's) problem from the start. It varies wildly in quality. Some of this stuff is prime Nasu at his best, and then we have the poor gameplay decisions/implementations, and story notes that feel off-tone and/or fall flat. Best we can do is enjoy the highs and tolerate the lows… 😅
@@SUPERSIDESWIPER Like I said, it had it's highs and lows. The high points were amazing!! Anthony's speech actually made me tear up, and Edison's backstory preceding him sacrificing his pride to summon Tesla as backup to save Protea Alter was the kind of character development he so desperately needed! Koyanskaya's plan failing, because the AIs rejected it after being made to realize that she actually did cherish them and their dying would emotionally hurt her was brillant. But the actual gameplay implementations/decisions were such ass that they detracted a lot from the story, and I still feel like the Summer Event being turned into a mere prologue for this OC chapter was a wasted opportunity. Many characters got their spotlight, only for others to be given mere scraps. Tenoch pretty much got character assassinated here. She betrayed Chaldea with no explanation, then proceeded to throw herself at Fujimaru all over again as if nothing happened afterwards. Had this been some other series, such a character would rightly be hated by the fandom. And, of course, it's just one giant "Idiot Plot" that could have been avoided has BB Dubai just explained things to us at the start instead of using Chaldea as disposable pawns while bragging like an overconfident idiot, and then throwing a tantrum when she inevitably lost. You'd think a being made to be exponentially smarter than any human ever would habe known not to underestimate Chaldea… "The bad haa to be taken with the good" perfectly sums up my feelings on this OC chapter.

Oh no the greatest enemy to mankind that lowers their IQ. Gacha games are attacking us
I wonder what does Anthony in PHH look like.. If he inherited his moon counterpart memory, I wonder what his reaction to ritsuka.
Wait I just realize. Is Anthony the one shrank by BB on her skill animation😂
Just NPC, theres like 15 anthony lookalikes throughout OC3
When this was happening I thought of the orb of confusion
