Many of you guys asked me why this film is in 4k when a6000 can only record in 1080p and the answer is simple - it was recorded in HD and I just exported project in 4k for better youtube compression 🙂
Hey man, is there any tutorial I can use to do this? I have the a6000 and I would like to know more about better export settings and techniques with 1080p footage.
@@heyimceli7999 There are some tutorials for sure, it depends what program you use but it's really very simple, you just need to set your project to 4k when exporting.

Not sure if you have answered this, but how did you get such a "wide" shot with the a6000. With mine, even with a sigma lens, exported to 4k, when I upload it to youtube, it does not look this wide on my browser as your film does.
I export in 2.39:1 aspect ratio, you just need to made a custom resolution, if you're working in Davinci Resolve just choose aspect ratio that you want from presets in project settings.

Thanks man, I would also consider Standard -3 -3 -3 this time, portrait has more dynamic range because it has less contrast but standard has better colors so they have their pros and cons :)

Although it was shot in natural lighting, I'm sure Colour grading played a crucial role in making this look like nothing less than cinematic experience thing...If possible make a video on craft work or behind the scene things! Anyway loved it man and music(sound engineering work) is splendid.
A6000 can have better 1080p than newer 4k models so I would stick to 4k in 6600. I'm adding just a little bit sharpening but not in standard sharpening slider, maybe I will make some tutorial in the future.

I just got my Sony a6k. I have rokinon 12mm, Sigma 30mm 2.8 and Minolta 50 1.7 a-mount with adapter.

What lens did you use for the blurred bokeh background shots?
I used sony 50 1.8, 7artisans 25 1.8 and sigma 16 1.4. From those 50 has the most blurry background.
Amazing work done . You are very talented . Can you give some tips how your 1080 looks so sharp ? My a6600 is not so sharp in 1080 mode.
