I own a 1980 Benelli 900 Sei, a six cylinder piece of madness from a bygone era. It too has a linked braking system, the front brake lever operates the right hand front disc and the rear brake pedal operates the left hand front disc as well as the rear disc. I've never had a problem with the Integral braking system on my Benelli. Moto Guzzi uses the same system to this day, and it does work well. The Benelli TNT is a budget starter bike and should be treated as such, for £2K you get a great little commuter machine which is designed in Italy and built in China. I personally think that the regenerated Benelli marque is doing a great job in producing motorcycles that people want to buy and ride. Moto Benelli was founded in 1911 and is now Italy's oldest motorcycle brand, hopefully with Chinese parent companies funding they have a great future ahead of them. "The Lion Roars"
David MacGregor no way, i have always wanted to see one of these six cylinder beasts up in person. Where about are you based? Yeah i agree, people expect a lot but i love the benelli brand and have a great fascination with Italian motorcycles. Thanks for commenting too 😁
Did i understood you right? You can break both wheels with you left foot? That's was not supposed to happen... The foot brake should stop the back wheel while the hand break should stop the front wheel. I like it! Nice video, mate! ;)
This bike has CBS, which means "combined braking system" that all bikes need to have to be euro4 compliant nowadays, either that or ABS, which makes braking with your foot use both front and rear brakes. And since ABS is for bikes that are more expensive than this one, they invented this crap.
Great video and very funny, man. Good to focus on the negatives, so we know what to expect ( I'm thinking in buying one). The bads aren't too bad, anyway, you can live with them. Thanks for the laughs and the info, keep riding, man
So good to see you back on a bike! Yay :) That fuel cap is the same as on my Hornet, whole things comes off. It doesn't bother me at all but I've not had any different so just used to it. Is your's 'Push to Lock' also? When I first got the bike I thought I was struggling to lock it back in, sometimes key wouldn't turn properly etc.. I then realised I had to push the cap down firmly then twist key XD lol
Thank you bex :D. Yeah i'm the opposite i'm so used to them being on hinges haha. I think it must be you know. It's probably me actually doing it wrong xD. Next time i will do just that.
Hey man love your vlogs, thinking of getting a Benelli pretty soon, do you have any way i could contact you ,would like to ask a few questions about the bike itself
John Saunders you know what I actually don't mind it 😂. I have seen them with a tail tidy and I actually prefer the reg down low because it shows of those pipes more 😜.
Are you crazy, people pay extra for combined braking systems. And it is nice that the gas cap comes out completely so it is not blocking the tank entrance. And what's with you young punks that you have to modify things on a bike so you feel you have done something special. These bikes were designed by mechanical engineers who were experts on engineering design, you do not need to second guess them. Just go ride them the way they are and enjoy the ride.
Stock tyres are rubbish, just like the Grom’s. The headlights on the Grom are better than the TNT. It’s July 2019 and still there aftermarket isn’t that great for this bike. I don’t care that much either because I sold my Grom and got one of these instead as overall it’s much better.
I've read some riding tests, and if you're wearing a jet helmet, compared with a bearded rider, a fresh shaved rider gains 0.02% speed thanks to less beard drag. Now seriously, about your brakes, with the Euro4 it is mandatory every new bike to have ABS or combined braking system like yours as. I'm no expert, but guess that in a 125 ABS makes the price jump higher and not worth it for such low power, so CBS system makes the price cheaper. Only see with ABS the top 125s from KTM, YAmaha, Suzuki, and the new cool CB125r.

Eduardo Silva thank you very much bro 👊🏼😁
You can replace the cap with a spin off non locking or hinged locking. Most are 105mm wide, remove the old and bolt in the new.
is it good for someone who is 185? (6 ft 1)
what's the top speed she can go ? I'm interested in buying one but I need to be able to get on the freeway
Nino Vali i got it up to 70 but i think you could get 73 at a push. I have been on the motorway on it and it handles it fine.
