Spikey thanks for making this video for me. Hadn't noticed it until now! From your experiences it seems like the bike is going to be ok for a good few years. All of the problems you have had seem like a quick and simple fix for me as I am capable of doing all my own mechanics anyway. For the first two years though I will be trying to keep the warranty, so keeping it fully serviced and treating it right. I won't be doing any off road riding or wheelies and stunts like you have so with any luck the bike will be just fine. I've bought it to replace my Honda CBR600FX which I was using to commute but it was costing a fortune in fuel. So far so good. Hope your fuelling problem gets sorted out if it hasn't already. I have commented on one of your other videos if that helps.
@@1DY. No problem I really enjoy making them. Honestly the bike it's self is amazing and I don't think that it is unreliable as such because it's still going strong and like you said I have been wheeling it and taking it off road and really just pushing it to the extreme . I have noticed that people are starting to get these bikes for commuting now. rather than having a big bike. which is great because they are fantastically cheap to run. Thank you for that and I have replied back to it.
Reliability is the main reason I sold the Hyosung gv650 and bought the Honda ctx700n. The Hyosung bikes suffered from cheap electrical components that fail way too early, all so they could make a cheaper bike. These days in Australia it's very unlikely any dealer would touch a Hyosung because they know it will have issues with the new owners. But people who upgraded the electrical components that were prone to failing have a great time with the bikes. Such as upgrading the regulator rectifier and stator with other bike parts like from a Kawasaki. Point I'm making is that once your bike is up and running again, if you plan to keep it for a year or longer, look into if anyone has had any luck with known brand electrical components being retrofitted to work on the tnt125.
Yeah that's a good point. I mean surely there must be some branded electric components out there that are just better but universal. I mean I'm not an electronic engineer but surely it wouldn't be that hard to transfer from a similar 125 😂👀. I really haven't a clue.
Had the same problem with squeaky front brake on my girlfriends TNT 125 and it just needed a little thin smear of copperslip on the back and contact edges of the brake pads to sort it. Don't get any on the pad or disc though as that's a no no. As with most things mechanical a little preventative maintenance goes a long way to keeping things running smoothly.
diagnostic tool i use for reading fuel trims ODBlinkMX dongle will work on bikes and cars and you will need the adaptor for the odb port that came with your bike minus fuel trims mean its running to rich + trims will show its running lean
Biggest problem that I have had is corrosion in the front brake caliper, it is apparently made from aluminium and steel and because these metals are indifferent and improperly sealed it causes corrosion and seizing. Had a massive slew of problems with this bike, just today the bolt that holds the gear shifting lever onto the peg frame has sheared off and needs drilled out. Not to mention almost everything on this bike rusts very quickly.
I have a similar problem with mine. 2018 bike just bought it with 230 miles on it. Plugs are wetting at tickover and it often cuts out. At low throttle openings it is very lumpy. After 10 miles or so it runs fine. I have done about 100 miles with fuel injector cleaner but little improvement so far. I have changed the plugs for NGKs. I am 62 and been building bikes for over 49 years but they are now too complicated for me! All electronics.
Thanks for your vid. Just bought a 2nd hand TNT. Couple of questions please: 1- what mileage have you done? 2 - what helmet accessory are using for your action camera? Seems to get a good angle without the helmet in view. TIA for any response. Slange Var
Hi, thank you. I have about 9k on my bike but I haven't been on it for over 6 months now. My go pro was chin mounted. You can find a J hook adapter for the go pro which should make It sit right on eBay too.
Yeah I actually owned one for a time. very smooth gear box. but after 60mph it would wobble a little because the tyres are very thin. Good little bike though.
You have lot of patience I know your mates fixin it in his spare time and maybe for free but it’s been months now, I would have took it to a dealership and had it back in a week or so and just pay 100-200£ whatever they charge
It’s funny U made this video bro I was literally just watching all your first videos on it and iv got to say for the price range of the bike It is good but I really don’t think there made to last maybe benelli put cheaper parts on so when sales are low they now they will still have people coming for parts so they still are making profit in some way but my personal opinion on the bike is there great fun u now what they say ride it like u stole it 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yeah exactly bro 😂. they are such fun bikes like honestly I have had so much fun on it. it's just a huge shame they put cheaper parts on it or maybe I am ragging her about a bit too much 😬😂
Spikey might be ragging a bit to much 😂😂u could do a you tube video on helmets sounds boring but for beginners they might not no where and what good brands are about 😂😂
look into fuel pressure regulator on the fuel pump can cause to much pressure so your fuel trims will be out if you check on a diagnostic tool fuel trims on idle should be hovering about near 0 on idle -15 or -20 on long term trims is trying to lean the fuel out from to hi pressure worth a check buddy im trying to find 36psi one they look like this and are on pump held in with a clip www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-2-Fuel-Pressure-Regulator-Kawasaki-Vulcan-Un-1600-Mean-Streak-Fuel-Pump-/143369158081
@@SpikeyOfficial will more likey be that pressure regulator i think think its a 2.5 bar / 36psi it should read on a fuel pressure tester im trying to find a replacement one and will pop tank off and see if theres a part number on the regulator
Thank you to DY for asking this question and of you have anyore questions let me know down below.

can ride the Benelli TNT 125 on the highway?

I will definitely invest in one if this doesn't solve it.
You can tell if a bikes running lean or rich without a computer just check the spark plug

How often does the fuel injector brake? That'd a big issue
spikey my benelli tnt 125 got its check engine light on and i dont know why i removed the kickstand switch and i
believe that s a problem with the ecu
then reconnect it and see if it presists? (if you still have the bike by now?)

Bro did you fix the fuel injection problem?
Is there a good place to hide a monimoto tracker on this bike man?
Hey buddy can I ask you what year was your bike manifactured ? Did you buy it brand new or was it few years old already. Thank you, much love :)
It was one of the first ones so about 2019. It was brand new too.

What's the mileage on your bike?
I know it was a couple of thousand but I will have to make sure what number it was 👌
Cheers brother
Brembo breaks i dont know dude. In germany we allready got the 2020 but its the Same bike. Same breaks.

What mileage is on bike now .An is engine still good
