These are great! The only thing missing was for Shatner to look out the window and yell: "There's something on the wing! Some....Thing!!!!" Uproarious laughter ensues.
I've seen the most of the film that was shot that day which all said and done is about an hour worth and a half of useable footage. It's a shame that with all of these bite size segments that have leaked, they have all managed to miss the best joke of the whole session. You see, after the first take that the suits wrote, the crew decided to adlib and see if they get anything really good. That's when the adlib takes started with people throwing out ideas and the guys trying their best to take those ideas somewhere. Most sucked, but there was this one that was AMAZING. So, the Shat comes in, sits down, and thanks Nimoy for taking him to hawaii to get away from all his stress working on TV and Nimoy is like, "no Bill, it's not a vacation, we're going to san francisco to shoot star trek IV". Hearing this freaks bill out and he says "Leonard, what about TJ Hooker I have a responsibility to..." at which time Nimoy cuts him off and says, "Bill, hooker's been cancelled (which at that time it had been not renewed for another season for months and everyone knew it was over)", but Bill seems confused and distraught. He pauses for a minute and then asks again, "it's been cancelled, are you sure?" To which Leonard says, "Yes, Bill, everyone has known for a while now. What have you been doing with this time?" But Bill without even acknowledging Leonard's question seems to channel his character from Airplane 2 and yells indignantly, "Why doesn't anyone ever tell me these things?!" which was the cut moment for the scene. The whole crew including shat and nimoy bust out laughing and it's truly a fantastic moment. Why nobody will post that clip is beyond my understanding.
I thought Leonard Nimoy’s middle name was Simon but okay. And it sounded like I heard shatner say you cute Vulcan. Lol And I wonder what the passengers were thinking with them messing about. The duo are absolute legends.
TAT Too much adorableness to handle. I'm glad they've kept that part. The most adorable part is when Bill learnt about Star Trek IV during the filming of that commercial. But we can't blame him for being so cheerful at Leonard's wonderfulness here, can we? ;)
Why the hell didn't they do more stuff like this? This was HILARIOUS! Man, they could have been a great acting duo like Martin & Lewis or Hope & Crosby. They could've done more drama outside of Star Trek, other than that one episode of TJ Hooker so that Nimoy could get some practice directing.

Can someone please upload the Western Airlines Commercial where they say "You get Three Feet for your Two Legs, on Western Airlines". That was such a cute jingle, I used to sing it a lot when I was 12 years old in 1974(When I first heard the jingle).
The ambiguously gay duo! Ahah, all kidding aside, I almost died at 'cute little Vulcan'. The fact that they are so close pleases me to no end. They should get like matching tatoos or something, or cute little best friends bracelets lmao. ;) You rock for uploading this.
I hear that two of the last commercials for Western Airline was this and some that Rodney Dangerfield did for Western. I don't remember either one. This couldn't have aired like this. It's just much too long for a commercial unless it was shown in a movie theatre.
@MuffinsDawsontv You know how your blood is red, and that's why a caucasian person's skin looks pinkish, and blushing is red? That means that, since Spock's blood is green, his skin would have a greenish tinge. Especially a highly vascular area such as a genital area.
