Shravanabelagola is a historical town in Karnataka, India, famous for its Jain basadis (temples) and monolithic statues of Jain tirthankaras (religious leaders). The most famous of these statues is the Gommateshwara Bahubali, a 57-foot-tall statue of Bahubali, the 22nd tirthankara. Shravanabelagola is a major pilgrimage site for Jains and is also popular with tourists.

Shravanabelagola is also home to a number of other Jain basadis, including the Chandragupta Maurya Basti, which is believed to have been built by Chandragupta Maurya, the first emperor of India.
