    You’re one of my favorite hairstylists on UA-cam because you work with pretty dark hair and there aren’t that many videos out there that do ❤️

    Love these! So many brunette and dark brunette clients & I can see some realistic color expectations! I’ve seen all these dark blondes and mousy browns going to platinum…this however really helps me with reality, as I’m a dark brunette.

    I love these videos! I’m a newer stylist with tons of dark hair clients (Mexican decent) but assisted with a lot of caucasian clients so these video’s definitely bring everything together.

    Can you do a video of a deep consultation and what makes you decide what technique you are going to lighten the hair? Thank you! That would be very helpful❤❤

    It looks so perfect!! I was wondering, do you wait for the bleach to be 45 minutes over the overall hair or do you take different parts out first so you don’t overdo your hair?

    beautiful result,love your videos, i'm binge watching them at the moment;-) Was wondering, if you use 4A root melt, next time when she comes in,do you find that its difficult to lift that area where you used 4A root melt? As with me, when i used 4 or 3 root melt, that area went orange ,an orange band,not blonde, and had to darken the blonde, did that ever happened to you? keep up the good work ❤

    This video is very helpful to me.. One regrettable thing is that I can't see it from the beginning (nape part) of the video. Can you put it up? thin slices , thin weaving ...etc.

  • @delilahjenae488

    If her ends are already prelightened why did they still lift warm? I notice you don’t heavily apply bleach through the mid shaft and ends do you go back and resaturate? I’m just wondering! Love love your videos btw it looks beautiful

    • @ashleyalopez
      @ashleyalopez  3 роки тому +3

      some people hair will always lift warm she is naturally very dark ( level 3 hair) this was my first session with her. Also she didn't want any lighter then a level 9 why take some someone lighter then what they want. Thats how breakage starts to come. Also she has some much hair, usually when saturating the hair with bleach it is important always ...but too much bleach or bad consistency on the foil can lead to 'bleed outs' and 'loose foils". hopefully that makes sense. and thank you so much!!

    So basically you did a teasy highlight and used a base color to hide the foil lines at the root area and then toned the ends.

      Oh there are experienced colorists out there!.. but are YOU willing to pay for that level of Mojo? I can’t afford 5 hours and $400 tab. But it’s out there, even in small towns. Just stop someone that has hair like yours and the WAY you like it and ask for the contact info. You will find the artist 👩‍🎨 … just make sure it’s ‘ like your hair’ and with the LOOK YOU WANT repeated. Give them your # so they give the referral to their girl also👍

    I noticed that your root melts are always semi permanent? Is this always the case. If so, why not permanent?
    Beautiful work!🤩

    • @tkloveshair
      @tkloveshair 3 роки тому

      Permanent can cause banding when the client returns for a balayage touch up. It's better to use permanent when you want to lift the clients natural base. Hope this helps

    • @tkloveshair
      @tkloveshair 3 роки тому +2

      I use permanent the most for red balayages or for grey coverage
