Hey Viper! I'm kinda new in the world of SimRacing and I was wondering what is the best game to start off. I've been playing some Project Cars because it was pretty cheap on G2A, I also would like to give DiRT Rally and F1 2016 a try, but which of these, or maybe Assetto is better to learn? I'm using a TM T150 RS.
Assetto is perfect to learn: the cars between 130 and 250 hp are perfect for beginners and amateurs! Moreover if it's still too hard, you can put on the electronic assists to help yourself. ^^
Sorry for bothering you, but I've searched your channel and couldn't for the life of me find your UI setup for Assetto Corsa. Would you mind sharing what plugins/mods you have for it? It looks super clean and I sorta want to set up my own game like yours.

I'm looking forward to it. BTW I always preferred the physics in P CARS to AC. The cars felt more realistically planted. But the lack of oversteer made AC feel more realistic.
Fair enough. Looks much better though. Especially that the puddles develop on the track actually. And if you move sand onto the track where there's gonna be puddles it's gonna create mud and be more slidy. Can't wait to try it.
I have an idea for the next online championship : would it be possible to make a endurance race on circuits like the nordschleife, etc ...? This race would count as a double point race it will add more enternement to the championship and a excellent showcase of everyone skills :D
Viper, i f i am correct, P-Cars has both Indycars and F1. I want you to do a head on race, both F1 and indycars at the same time. i searched it and it seems no one has done an actual live race, only comparisons. And when P-Cars 2 comes, throw in Formula E as well,( P cars 2 better have it.). Thanks.

Ascender2306 if you think about center of gravity the Elise has an advantage due to being more balance than the Cayman (the caymans engine is more in the back than the middle) the Cayman might have straight line speeds but it'll lose time on corners and Viperconcept is a good driver which is an up for the Lotus theres no arguement in that its facts
Maybe I will get Assetto Corsa a month later because of Lambo's and Ferrari's. I already have Project Cars but Lamborghini is my favourite car manufacturer so I feel lack of those cars in PCars
You should practice drifging,except it looks cool it also helps you to better understand the car's behavior and it will bring you much more control in racing,also if you start practising drift i will suggest you to leave handbrake alone,get the car sliding by wawing it from one to another side and than correct a little bit,and thats it
Depends on your budget, Project cars out of the box comes with more cars & tracks. But the overall quality, physics and handling is definitely better in AC. Just be prepared to buy additional DLCs for AC to fully enjoy it

U noticed you being honked at at the end of your x-bow run. From my gt5 and 6 experience, that usually is used as an apology. I may be wrong, but he might have been Apologizing for that braking in front of you mid-turn.
I like the KTM XBOW, this car is very logic : you go at a track day generally when the sun shines, if the sun shines you don't need a roof, if you have no roof, why the put side glasses ? If your car is very low, enter by the top is easier so you don't need doors opening.
How to use a game pad on Assetto Corsa: For steering, flick the analog stick to full and for varying lengths; the longer you hold it, the sharper the angle. For acceleration, tapping the brake and gas works there as well.
oh i dislike that ktm so much, the lack of abs, short wheelbase and snappy oversteer make it soooooo difficult to drive well. i'm just not good enough to feel confident in it. too tricky for me.

Isn't that a bit unrealsitic? The Aventador SV managed to post a 6:59 which is faster or at least as fast as the LaFerrari and the P1. So even Assetto Corsa is not true to reality :( It's a shame why can't car games get it right.
The P1 has an unofficial laptime under 7 minutes (driven by Chris Goodwin) while the Porsche 918 has an official laptime of 6:57. However, if you watch at the power/weight ratio of each car, you can expect a bit the performance of these monsters.
But how was the Lambo able to post such a good time in real Life? Was the driver that crazy :D Sure Perfomance wise the Lambo can't get close to the holy trinity. Maybe the record Aventador was pretty well setup for the ring I don't know. I hope you didn't got me wrong, I didn't want to bash Assetto Corsa. I'm still not sure if I should get it. Does it still have microtransactioons?
I don't know... Usually the lap-times are organised by the automakers themselves, so a lot of lap-times you see on the Nordschleife are made with well prepared cars. For that reason I prefer to don't fully trust to those lap-times. Yes it has, but if you have the season pass, all the DLCs are free.

This is the console version of AC and this is the default HUD.
However, I think you can find it as mod on internet for the PC version.

I don't play Project CARS anymore. Maybe I'll test them on Project CARS 2.However I don't like modern open wheels race cars. It isn't my style. :-/

Why use cockpit view? I can not enjoy your race anymore. Cant see body roll, tire smoke, wide angle etc. Not excited at all.
