In the 1980s when we lived in Queenstown, we would buy this kueh from the same seller. Whole one large pancake cut into pieces in boxes. His children were studying in the polytechnic and sometimes would help out in the shops. I remember buying the luehs for my office function as well. The taste is unique and one can see Mr Deng make them in front of you. Hope he can pass this technique / receipe to the younger generation to continue. For the time being I hope people support this couple who had served the community for so long!. Best Wishes to Mr Deng and family.

That peanut pancake must be from Southern China originally. Because there are so many countries in Southeast Asia have their versions, like in Indonesia, in Malaysia, etc. But I think the Indonesian version is the best...
Depends which part of Indonesia, and which language in Indonesia, honestly. In Tiociu language West Kalimantan it's called Tam Bi Kue. In Melayu West Kalimantan it's called Apam Pinang. In Hakka language Bangka it's called Hoklo Pan, in Bali it's called Terang Bulan, etc.
