As a Yankees fan obviously it was the wrong call but when people say this one call changed the whole game (which we don’t know if it would have) kinda gets me mad because the strike zone from the home plate umpire was ALL over the places tonight. Sorry if it happened in the 9th inning but bad call we’re getting made towards the Yankees to. Also if your relying on one strike call to win the game anyways that’s not a good sign Also I’m not at all blaming Gomar here I’m more upset at people in the comments
Two games in a row that the lower part of the strike zone doesn't exist for the Yankee pitchers. I won't apologize for getting the benefit of the strike call in the 9th.
It was close but clearly not a strike. That said it absolutely goes both ways, Judge was called for a strike on a checked swing in the game prior that was 100% not across the plate
It wasn't even as egregious as it looked. I usually keep the MLB app open watching for their strike zone because I think it's more accurate than the TBS box. It missed by like a seam. Kahnle's walk of Kwan the night prior was far worse, and if we want to talk about changing things we might be discussing a sweep if it was called correctly. But. Like Cleveland fans who shouldn't apologize for game 3, I won't apologize for game 4
Rizzo is like an old man who can't bend over and has diminished reflexes. How a simple flip from the pitcher not only is muffed, but he let's it go thru his legs. Repeated ground balls between him and first base is also a problem for him. You have to guard the line later in the game, you 'dummy', but he's got a seemingly case of permanent brain fog. You would think our moronic manager would have moved him to where he should be. Am also amazed at players who are like 'Keystone Kops' running the bases, which include Rizzo, Trevino, Volpe and Chisholm. How we are one game from The World Series is a miracle, but thank goodness that the Dodgers and Mets are not any better at the fundamentals.
The wildest thing about this Yankees team, is that they make soft throwing lefties with an ERA in the 5s look like prime Randy Johnson, but they see Emmanuel Clase in the biggest moments and turn him into a batting tee. It's been like that all season.
Gomer Simpson, oh you think that ALCS game took years off your life🤨🤨🤨?? I wonder if Bartman felt the same way. Oh that’s right. He probably didn’t watch, because the city of Chicago ran him out of town, into hiding. Nice fans. The players deserve that ring, but not some of the fans.
You bring up that “strike” to Cleveland in the 9th, but dont talk about “strikes” called on NY that were out of the zone today and yesterday. Bias much?
@@TheSoup222222that call was consistent with how they called strikes against the Yanks. Tons of balls called strikes blame the refs but the Yanks didn't walk in a run to win. And maybe don't drop the slow roller in the 9th.

Why does the visible tv strike zone show the ball as a low pitch but when you get a side view the ball is at the knees.

Can we pls talk about how Tommy Kahnle threw 18 changeups in a row😂. He had 18 pitches 18 changeups thrown
That’s what the guy does, it’s insane. Game 3 he threw like 26 pitches, all changeups. Idk how he gets away with it.
By definition that makes no sense lol. If all you throw is changeups you’re not changing up anything.
Before he had Tommy John surgery, I remember him throwing 98 mph. He was unhittable when he mixed that fastball with his changeup.
