ultrawide monitors are an ego issue for me. i started with 29 inch. now I have two 49 inch. But still feel so low after seeing all these videos. two 49 inches stacked seems to be so low profile. I want more

Great ideas! Minimalism is so cool......one plug into Mac. Fast - makes it easier on you mentally. Laptop sounds great - 64gb ram too! Travels well. Docking station, mouse, controller simplifies stuff! I haven't heard any presentation about why a wireless mouse is good - but being able to switch charts with a mouse - Wow!
Thanks for doing these! May I ask if in ur experience you really need the 64gb Ram to run this setup & software. I'm in the same boat, and looking to buy an macbook pro 14" m3 max binned, but on the fence about 36gb vs 96gb ram. Hence the question. I really have no clue how taxing such a setup for daytrading, running stuff in parallels, etc is gonna be? Any input is much appreciated!

I find it so funny that people spend all the money on trying to use a MAC and in the end they're just using a MAC to run Windows. Like um, that's insane. Fun, but crazy.

I think it’s more about the durability of the computer processor. Dude, I’ve been having my Mac Pro Book for 13yrs. & still running using my computer for work daily. I’ve had three hp’s & could barely get 3 years out of each one combined totaling for the the life of each hp 1yr a piece. Don’t sleep in an Apple. It’s really a good product. #RealTalk

Appreciate the video. Got a quick question. Why would you need 64 GB of RAM? I plan to invest in an m2 Pro max 16-inch laptop 32GB for trading purposes and likely will run 3 to 4 external monitors. Would you recommend it? It likely will only power the charts on different screens + Parallels Windows desktop. I believe these 2 will eat the memory and the CPU and hoping 32 GB will help...

Good setup. Minimalism is having few items - living with bare necessity and not having all the bell and whistles like you have. You can say that you prefer clean setup and housekeeping no matter the cost.
Well it wouldn't make sense to prove this project a great experiment without scaling up...im sure more will want to see your next 100 trades using 5 or 10 contracts

why go for Mac and not a PC tower? would have been a lot more powerfull for way less. What I personally do is I have a tower that costs 1k5$. and is way more powerfull than the mac presented in the video. And I got a refurbished Macbook pro for 1k$. for whenever I need to travel and want to move.
Just wanted one device to handle it all!
@@JayAwtani ah understandable, Today you can sync your windows and apps between devices very easily. maybe for your next setup upgrade you can keep your mac as a laptop and build a PC tower. that can be a good idea.

With the new monitors you don't even need a dock.
Excellent requirement to use case solution presentation -- superb. Thank you for mentioning models of equipment for all your choices. One thing surprised me and that is your choice of only one stock view with bookmap. I find having at least 3 bookmap screens of NVDA, AAPL, MSFT liquidity views helps a great deal with decisioning.
