    Just found your channel looking for no fragrance products and im loving how non obnoxious you are compared to so many other screaming youtubers!! Almost everything claiming to be fragrance free and for sensitive skin still has ingredients like lavender which is soo frustrating, im def subscribing!

    I'm systematically going through and watching all your videos and I think it's safe to say I've found my new favorite skincare UA-camr! No-nonsense, no bullshit, no fragrance or essential oils, and the absolute best part, affordable for all us broke folk out there that can't be dropping 50+ dollars for a single product willy-nilly. Another huge bonus for me personally is that I also have skin that leans toward the drier side of combo and it seems like every UA-camr who I love and who aligns with my biggest priorities (Hyram, James Welsh, Liah Yoo, etc.) has oily skin, so it helps a lot knowing I have a better chance of what works for you working for me, too. You're a literal dream come true and I'm so glad to have found you!!!
    (Sidenote: This is just a little detail I picked up on, but I notice you mentioned "those who have periods or menstrual cycles" when "women" is what most people would default to and I just wanna say, as a trans man? Very appreciated. It's a small thing and maybe it wasn't even intentional but it makes all the difference, and while you've already won me over with your style and beliefs, this is just one more thing to love!)

      Awesome! I'm glad I can provide a perspective catered to the dryer skin types. The word choice was intentional I'm trying to be consistent and normalize it. I'm happy to know it's allowing everyone to feel included!

    I love how chill your videos are and your calm tone. It definitely helps highlight what you're talking about by keeping the focus on the products, ingredients, and what they actually do to our skin. Well done review! Will be buying the 3 products you recommend after I use up my current balancing toner and hydrating serums!

    P.S. I thought your name said "RichSkin_" when I first clicked on the video. I thought OMG I've never seen skin so glowy and glass-like. Your skin really is Rich, Rick. 🙂

    I love the cleansing balm, and did not notice the fragrance, which is unusual for me.

    Mister your eyeborows are so pretty and skin glowing! 😁Hmmm i hoy here because i want to get a niacinamide product i've been looking for reviews, but i think i'll go with the ordinary...

      Thank you so much! I haven't tried the ordinary's yet but I've heard nothing but great things so I think you're in good hands. The Inkey List's may be one to look into as well!

    i love how informative and educational your videos are. found your channel yesterday while searching for krave beauty reviews. i feel like i'm learning so much about the ingredients and their function. like the niacin flush? i think that happened to me because twice after using the ordinarys niacinamide serum i got SO red in the face and inflamed it was painful and my skin was super sensitive that i had to stop using sunscreen etc until it went away.

      Yeah I was looking at the ordinary niacinamide serum's ph and it looks like it could be towards the lower side which is really playing with fire especially for those who are more susceptible to a reaction. I'd probably skip any exfoliating acids or vitamin c serums when using it in the routine. I hope you find one that works better! ♥️

    Would you recommend using the exfoliating treatment every other day, or every 3 days consecutively?

    • @RickSkin
      @RickSkin  4 роки тому

      Depends on the strength of the product and tolerance of your skin. You can technically exfoliate every day with a gentle exfoliant but if its a stronger treatment I'd say 1 to 3 times a week. For example, something like the wishtrend 5% mandelic acid can be a daily exfoliant but the ordinary 30% aha would be 1 to 2 times a week. You just have to test the waters and see what your skin can take but do it slowly its easier to prevent then try to heal damaged skin. Thanks for watching!

    Hi RickSkin! What if you have a rounder face (chubby cheeks), and you don't necessarily want the effect of plump skin? Will high doses of hylauronic acid make them appear bigger?

    • @RickSkin
      @RickSkin  5 років тому

      The reason hyaluronic acid plumps is because the lower molecular weight allows it to penetrate deeper into the skin and when it binds water the hyaluronic acid expands and gets thicker. If you don't want as much of a plumping effect you can use humectants with a larger molecular weight like regular hyaluronic acid, polyglutamic acid or polysaccharides. Humectants to avoid would be sodium hyaluronate or any other low molecular weight humectant. Hope I helped!

    How would you say the brightening toner compares Glow Tonic Vitamin C toner?

    • @RickSkin
      @RickSkin  5 років тому +1

      I haven’t tried the glow tonic but it has a bunch of fragrance which this one does not so right off the bat I’d say the good molecules one is better also WAY better in terms of price.
