So many things to love about Dr Dray. But one of the things I REALLY love is straight jumping in to the topic without mindless intro involving singing, dancing, crying and telling people about how your grand parent lost a hand like other youtubers do.
😂😂😂😂 that was funny but so true!!
I literally fasted forward 2 mins because I’m so use to ppl taking for ever to start talking. I’m like “”oh!she started already I got to go back” 👏🏾 love it.
I agree I fucking hate the mindless babble before someone gets to the point. I always fast forward.
Every video on UA-cam has to reiterate what the title already said the video was about and then talk for another 2 to 3 mins about nonsense no one asked to hear . I literally skip 4 or 5 mins into every video I click on .
Damn not a hand 😭😩😭😭😭
No one does product reviews better than Dr. dray. I just love hearing about the general background information on industry studies vs body of evidence vs marketing claims and cosmeceutical manufacturing practices.
Yup, feel the same.
We are lucky Dr Dray chooses to share her knowledge, so we can see through the marketing hype.
Came here to say the same thing. Her videos are so comprehensive. Much appreciated Dr Dray.
Dr Shereene Idris is my favourite
Cassandra Bankson is another great Channel to watch as well. She is an Esthetician and has great SkinCare product knowledge like Dr. Dray and Dr. Shareene Idriss. I watch all three before buying a product.
"As we get wiser." Love that!!
im sitting here so nervous because i love this brand😂
No need to be nervous 😂♥️
Dont be! Haha😁 If something works for you, it works!
hahaha thanks guys!💞
Same.
😂😂😂😂
I’ve been waiting for this one! I’ve been using the instant cleansing balm for a year and a half and it is amazing. The smallest amount cleans off everything from no makeup days to my heavier days- even mascara! Also no weird residue left behind. I’ve been hesitant to try anything else from the brand until you reviewed as I’m now a super minimalist with the retin a I’m on
I’ve asked you to review this brand a few times on IG, I had to stop because I didn’t want to be annoying, so I’m super happy to see this come up! That discoloration serum is great for clearing up redness from my daughters acne. We have definitely noticed improvement, not so much for my dark spots from the sun. Thanks for the great video, have a great day!
Love love love these full line pro and con videos. Any time you post one I watch it immediately.
I can appreciate your honesty while reviewing products. Many influencers or you tubers are driven by a paycheck from different sponsors . Thank you so much for your honesty, and your super informative videos.
And some of the people comments are fake reviews as well
I love you Dr. Dray! I’m a teenager in Canada and I suffer with Rosacea/Sensitive skin. Your videos have helped me out a lot! Happy Tuesday!💛
I really like the cleansing balm. It removes makeup well without leaving a residue or irritating my skin. The silicone-free priming moisturizer works well for me in the summer.
I’ve used the instant cleansing balm. It does really well removing mascara and eyeliner. It’s easy to wash off and leaves the skin moisturized.
I had to leave a comment on this older video because I am going through one of my infrequent "I think I need a new serum in my skincare routines!" periods and wanted a refresher on your take on the Good Molecules products before I ordered. And I love so much that you always at some point in these videos remind us that fewer products in our routines are generally better ... because that always makes me pause and question if I *really* need to add a serum to my basic sunscreen / morning antioxidant / evening tretinoin routine and, invariably, decide that I do not. So, THANK YOU, once again! 💜
I really appreciate that you put chapters in your videos :) it is very usefull
I contacted Good Molecules about the Super Peptide Serum a few weeks ago because it has been out of stock for a while and was wondering when it would be back and they said they are currently working on reformulating it so hopefully they take out the fragrant essential oils like they have done with their other serums. They seem to do a good job at listening to their customers.
FYI - Good Molecules just brought their Super Peptide Serum back in stock and they took the Bergamot oil out 👏🏻🙌🏻👏🏻
@@lindseyjones9531 thank youu!! I really want to try it out
They DID reformulate it and it NO LONGER HAS BERGAMOT OIL IN IT!! Yay!!!
@@lindseyjones9531 This is the comment I was looking for, THANK YOU!!
O
I am a black woman who uses, Discoloration Serum and Niacinamide Brightening toner and it leaves my skin clean, smooth, and my dark spots very well. What works for you and what works for me is two different things. These products well for MY skin.
How long you had to use those products to notice visible results?
Hiii may i know ur skin type?
Please tell us what is your skin type
@Gshmoney does it continue to work if you stop using it
Do you use the discoloration serum under your eyes?
I'm so excited. I was looking to purchase from this brand. Thank you for always coming through with the good timing!
Dr. Dray, thank you so much for a comprehensive review on a cruelty free and reasonably priced product line. 🙏🏻
Thanks for the review of this brand - I was sitting in the edge of my seat to hear about the Super Peptide Serum, which you passed on at the end of the video because it contained bergamot oil, but looking at the ingredients of it from a few years ago vs. now, they’re different!
The Citrus Aurantium Bergamia Fruit Oil is nowhere to be seen in the reformulation! 🎉
Several years ago I fell for the hype around rosehip seed oil and used it every night for a year. It did absolutely nothing for my skin. Did not care for the 'earthy' smell of it either.
Hope you are staying warm Dr. Dray, saw on the news all the snow and cold in Texas this week.
Excited for this one! I would love a video on your experiences as a derm for those wanting to enter the field 😊
I love this brand! So affordable and effective. I regularly use the cleansing balm priming moisturiser and overnight exfoliator. And now you've sold me on the eye patches too!!
Thanks for you honesty. Give me the ability to take a better decision while getting products for a sensitive skin with lot of allergic reaction to long list of ingredients in one product.
I received a sample of the cleansing balm in an order from Beautylish. Loved it so much I bought two tubs of it. It works amazing & doesn't leave a hard to wash off film on the skin. Great first step in a double cleanse.
Tysm for this phenomenal vid! Much appreciated!!! Hope you & your mom& Tybee are warm in this cold!!
Came here to see what she thought of the hydrogel eye patches as I just bought some to try. Imagine my surprise when I hear her say they’re similar to the ones I’ve been using from Derma E! The Good Molecules ones are cheaper so I think I will be using those more often, but it’s great to know she likes both of them. I think they’re both fantastic as well!
I’m so happy that dr dray exists in my era 🥀😊
We’re honestly so blessed
Factssss i cant go to the dermatologist bc is so expensive and she fixed my skin with their advices 😱 literally
I have been a vegan for years and find it hard to buy products that suit my life style. I went on accutane at 32 and still had skin problems after. I want to thank you so much. I follow and listen to you closely and you have changed my life. My skin is amazing and I even look years younger. I get excited to watch your channel and so glad you take the time to help people.
Could I find out what your face routine looks like? Struggling with acne as well
THAT TONER IS EVERYTHING!
Comprehensive and so educational! Thank you Dr. Dray!
I've used two tubs of the cleansing balm, it's good....works well removing makeup and doesn't leave my eyes cloudy.
Thank you for this review. Glad to know about the tackiness in some of these products. Hate that feeling and would immediately wash it off.
Whew - I love this brand so I’m glad for the most part of these recommendations. I know you don’t like eye cream but I appreciate ones that are inexpensive because I’m 45 and I like paying attention to that area. Love the cleanser I’m on my 3rd bottle and love it. I also appreciate when they change something- the note it on the packaging. Love the price and appreciate that the packaging is pretty.
I've fallen in love with the yerba mate eye cream tbh. Love how my eyes look about 10 minutes after applying it and I'm a 50 yo sugar loving smoker so it has a lot to contend with.
@@bluecurlygirl thnx. I ordered the eye cream just waiting on delivery!
Lol, she doesn’t like eye creams because shes not 45 Lolol. I am, like you, and all of sudden I LOVE them. When age starts staring back at you, boy do priorities change.
@@boomboom6577 couldn’t have said it better myself lol
I use the 2nd bar cleanser you mentioned on my face , body when needed & for my delicate Japanese Fude artist brushes.
It’s a highly versatile bar!
Love those hydrogel eye patches too! Good molecules turns out to be a American concept, but created in a lab in South Korea , hence it’s a k-beauty brand, I wasn’t aware of this until I read the details.
Thanks, Doc.
i’ve been looking for niacinimide in 4%! so glad the good molecules has one that you approve of bc the ordinary’s 10% breaks me out :(((
CeraVe pm is also a low percentage niacinamide
The ordinary irritates my skin so much :(
It caused PIH for me … I’m hoping good molecules can help reverse that since it is recent
CeraVe PM is great. The ordinary products just wreaked havoc on my skin. Following Dr Dray's simple routine of CeraVe moisturizing cleanser, CeraVe PM moisturizer, and petrolatum saved my skin and immediately started healing
Paulas choice
Love the cleansing balm, it's so affordable and works great without breaking me out 😍 I also do like the eye gel, it gives a nice glowy bright look
Love the cleansing balm - rinses clean and leaves skin feeling hydrated! Try it out!
Dr., Dray, I started taking your advice and created a (mostly) fragrance free skin care routine for about 2 months now, and on my zoom calls I've had comments on my skin being "glowing" !!!! Thank you for sharing your professional knowledge with us! You are awesome! Also, you look beautiful and your skin as always is dewy and radiant!
The brightening toner, the serum and pineapple exfoliating powder are perfect for my brown skin. I have sensitive, combination, acne-prone skin and my skin responded really well to these three. 10/10 for all three. ❤
I watch a few dermatologists that focuses specifically on brown skin and they both agree that those work for brown and darker skin
Did it make your skin softer ?
@@kmarcol1which creators are those? I’d love to watch someone who has my skin tone in mind
@@supperpuppy8dr v or vanita she is based in UK but she targetedly focuses on for skin of color ppl where brown skin ppl also fall under ...
I just bought the brightening toner and serum !
Happy Tuesday Dr Dray! Stay warm and hopefully you have water and electricity! All love here in Texas ❤️
I am lucky to have those things right now! Hope you are staying safe & warm
The cleansing balm is da bomb!!!! I love it and use it as a pre cleanse when I’m taking makeup off.
Happy Tuesday Dr Dray and peeps! I hope it is sunny where you all are because Chicago just got a ton of 🌨 ☃️❄️❄️☀️☀️☀️☀️
You too!!
the cleansing balm works so well! removes my makeup super fast and is so easy to rinse off after
Exfoliating overnight serum, cleansing balm, niacinimade brightening toner have worked amazingly for me 👍🏼
Thank you for such a thorough review!! ❤️❤️❤️
Dr. Dray I so curious to hear your thoughts on a new product at Ulta. The Pur 4 in 1 Sculpting Concealer-I believe that is what it’s called. This product has retinol in it. I’m interested to hear your thoughts on cosmetics mixing in skincare ingredients. Thank you!
Yess that’s an interesting topic
I have used the Instant Cleansing Balm and I loved it! Removes makeup so well.
I appreciate this review dr.Dray! I use a lot of their products because inexpensive. I share many of your experiences with these products. Happy to know more about the science behind it. Thanks!
Loved the video as always❤️ just FYI the cleansing balm has a scent and its not bad but not good either. I have no idea what is in the ingredients to make it smell like that but I was surprised
I’ve tried the cleansing balm and it was just as effective as the Farmacy green clean or Clinique take the day off balm but I went through it too fast so I switched to the iUnik cleansing oil.
The cleansing balm is really good. It’s great for removing makeup and waterproof mascara.
Hello from the 2 degree temperature desert of Kansas! Can’t wait to take a deep dive into this vid. Thanks again Dr. Dray. Love ya to bits!
stay warm
I really enjoy your informative videos. Can you recommend an eye cream and eye serum that is moisturizing, anti-aging and will not aggravate blepharitis?
Omg - same with the niacinamide serum!! Totally ruined my moisture barrier and now I’m in the process of repair.
Thank you for reviewing this brand! lol I actually really like the Pineapple exfoliating powder
Good Molecules cleansing balm fits perfect for my skin! I highly recommended! And will go back again and make it a stable routine for removing everything on my face and importantly, eyes! I tried many cleansing balms with heavy perfumes strange scents that are too strong for my nasal and give me headaches, makes my face itchy and suck my face dry and makes my eye (left eye swell with contact dermatitis and eyes burning and also red) ...a bit of grittiness ( exfoliation)to it...just my 2 scents here.
Your skin is perfection and my skin goals. I can’t get over how stunning you are
I would love a NIOD review next! ❤️
I heard good things about their eye cream - FECC, but it is expensive and I won't buy it until I hear from my favorite dermatologist - Dr. Dray!
I’m surprised you reacted to the toner, I was sent a bunch of these products to try out and fell in love with it! Such an upgrade from the one I was trying from the Ordinary, which is definitely sticky.
The toner is so good.
Yayyy! I’ve been wait for this 😼🙌🏽
thanks for watching
I love this channel . Thank you for the daily vids DR Dray
This was so helpful omg this is my first video Ive seen from you and I learned so much
YOU GUYS! I took a chance and bought the Colorescience Sunforgettable Total Protection Face Shield SPF 50 that Dr. Dray recommended. Finally a tinted moisturizer that matches my skin tone! I'm not going to stop buying the Cerave spf 30 but this Colorescience stuff is really good. A bit of a splurge but worth it!
They do 20-30% off discounts a lot either on colorescience, lovelyskin, dermstore or any other authorized retailer
Hi Dr. Dray, thinking of you with the crazy weather in Texas right now... hope you have power and are staying warm!! Take good care....
I just purchase them last night ! And was wondering if you’re gonna review them and you did ! Wow 😳
This was super helpful, as always. I've really enjoyed the cleansing balm, I've tried them all. This one is sooo soft and doesn't burn my eyes! The priming moisturizer is nice, I ALWAYS have pilling, this one helps, but not moisturizing enough for my eczema. I have the same experience with the niacinamide toner 😩 itchy. I really hope the discoloration serum helps with some old eczema scars. We'll see 🙌🏻
I ordered several products from this brand and happy with all of them. Specifically wanted the powdered enzyme cleanser because other brands charge too much. I actually really like the product and it’s not irritating. Papain is common in enzyme cleansers and googled it - says it can actually help with inflammation and slough off dead skin cells.
I too like the pineapple exfoliation powder! I use it as a physical exfoliant. I didn't realize it was it c powder.
I wish people would talk more about enzymes as exfoliants. Elta md foaming cleanser and Cerave both use them and they seem less irritating than acids, imo.
Hey Dr Dray! They actually list out percentages of most of their product ingredients in that section of the website! Hope that helps!
Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️
They recently came out with a new retinol. It seems pretty good from what I’ve seen but I haven’t bought it so idk. I would like to know your opinion on it.
Thank you for this review! Even though I don't have access to this products I learnt a lot about ingridients! FYI about the Bulgarian oil, the only one I know of is the Bulgarian rose essential oil which is made from the pedals. I wouldn't put that on my face but it smells really nice! I remember Dr Dray drinking the rose sirup that is made from the oil. Much better than putting it on the face!
Ha ha I’ve been waiting for this! Thanks for another great video dr.dray!
Love your advice! Can you comment on Chantecaille skincare? It’s so expensive and I feel like we can get those benefits from much cheaper skincare lines.
I have mild Rosacea. I am 51, with hyperpigmentation on cheeks & forehead. It's been 1 month using Good Molecules: Niacinamide Brightening Toner, Discoloration Correcting Serum, Overnight Exfoliating TX & Squalane Oil. No bad side effects & no allergies. Currently awaiting my shipment with: Travel Size Instant Cleansing Balm, Rosewater Daily Cleansing Gel & Pineapple Exfoliating Powder.
Did it work well?
Omg! I was waiting for this video! Thanks Dr. Dray 🥰
I’ve been using these products since the pandemic. Love, love, love! I’ll be 62 in a few months, and my skin loves them. I use them all! 🥰
Wow! Which one you liked the most mam?
I would find it super helpful if you could, at the end, mention again the products that are good or worth considering. Just a really quick re-cap. Or perhaps indicate them somehow in the description. Thank you for considering it. Really appreciate all the work you do for us!
She only linked the products she recommends in the description box if that helps!
@@idreamofpeony , it does! Somehow I missed her statement about "the good stuff." Thank you!!!
Finally!!! Was just about to place my order and your video came just in time. Thank you Dr. Dray❤❤❤
Hope you like it!
The cleansing balm is really good. I’ve repurchased it multiple times. Takes off all my sunscreen and makeup (including waterproof mascara) and it washes off easily leaving no film or noticeable residue.
I love it too - plus it’s kinda fun scooping it out of the jar 😂
And i totally agree! It takes out foundation, sunscreen and waterproof mascara! And what i like about it doesn't have like gritty stuff and heavy fragrance that irritate the nasal and give headaches and itchy face like most cleansing balms. Good Molecules is really good!
It's hands down my absolute favorite cleansing balm. It's so luxurious to rub on and rinse off.
Thanks for sharing. It's going in my basket now.
Same. One of the best I’ve used so far.
The toner also made my akin tingle/burn a bit. I don’t have particularly sensitive skin either so I stopped since my concern is hyperpigmentation and any irritation will counter/prolong my journey.
As I’m nearing my 40th birthday in less than 6 months I have been focusing on having an arsenal of skincare products that address my needs instead of makeup to cover up my problem areas. Wearing a mask changed my routine from heavy foundation to tinted moisturizer and every time I try and go for a “glam” look it feels terrible to me!! I’m so happy to be embracing my natural self! 🥰
This is a great video, thank you for looking at these and giving us your thoughts!
Hi Dr Dray, I've been diagnosed having scrotal eczema, do you have any tips to control the eczema on there? I was given steroids and the flare subsides, I'm maintaining it with aveeno eczema therapy balm.
You really do have perfect timing Dr. Dray! Just yesterday I was planning on looking into this brand from my acne and hyperpigmentation.
Isn't her timing impeccable?? I got this bad rash on my neck, and just two days later she did a video on neck rashes and neck creams!! I just love her! i think I'm addicted!
I liked the cleansing balm, but I found that, compared to my favorite balm from Clinique, it didn't spread as easily or rinse as clean. It's a tiny difference, however. I guess I just preferred the Clinique balm experience.
I've tried the cleansing balm and it works really well. It does have an odd smell to it though.
I purchased items from their November Black Friday Sale. I have the pineapple powder, the niacinamide toner, discoloration serum, the silicone free priming moisturizer. I enjoy the serum and the moisturizer.
Thanks for making this video ♡
I’ve been wanting to try their Dark Spot serum! I’m currently using the Ordinary Niacinamide serum and think this might be a step up from that.
It really brightens the skin! almost instantly in my opinion
It is. The one from the Ordinary is sticky, the toner one is totally a step up I’ve been really liking it
New to your channel. Great video. Great information. You are awesome!
Thank you Dr Dray! Do you think using the niacinamide toner or serum would be too harsh to use the same night as the overnight exfoliator?
I tried niacinamide toner totally made my skin itch and I developed major breakouts terrible. Thank you for going over the skim care products Dr. Gray greatly appreciated 🙏😊
sorry to hear that happened to you too!
@@DrDrayzday ughhh
I alternate the aha/bha exfoliant with retinol; I like how my skin is looking. I also use squalane and rosehip seed oil alternate mornings... I'm enjoying good molecules products.
Thank you for the review Doc! May I recommend NIOD for a future brand review? 👀 that one is really intriguing to me.
I second this.
Some of their ingredients sound quite bamboozling, and it would be good to get Dr Dray's take on the line.
Not doctors but Gothamista and Penn Smith Skincare have reviewed this line.
I ADORE A FEW PRODUCTS FROM NIOD!
The cleansing balm combined with the rose water cleansing gel is an awesome combination!! I wear makeup to cover rosacea, and the two of them together get rid of all the makeup and mascara.
i need to try it
Does the balm remove mascara well?
Yes, the balm removes mascara .
Not related to this, I'd love to see you review some silicone-free hair care products from brands like Briogeo and L'oreal. This could also include products that have the unstable silicones that do not coat the hair and require a clarifying shampoo to remove. As someone in a very dry climate, I struggle to find a variety of products for the hair that are silicone-free but also very hydrating. I loved your videos on water soluble and non-water-soluble silicones, and found it VERY helpful.
Same. I live in the desert, and it took me years to find a silicone free hair product set. I use innersense. Took about two months to adjust to no silicones, but it’s been wonderful.
Yeah my skin can’t tolerate anymore than 5% when it comes to niacinamide. It’s one of my favorite ingredients, but if I use a higher percentage it breaks me out soooo bad.
Can you do a video on derma planing? Pros and cons. Skin types. At home vs professional
I actually looooved the toner!
I’m most interested in the Rosewater Cleanser and Hydrating Cleanser Bar. Do these need a double cleanse to remove water resistant sunscreen or will they do fine on their own?
I’ve been interested in this brand! Needed this 🙏🏽
Hope you like it!
Thanks! I've been wondering about them.
thanks for watching
Few days ago before finding dr dray channel I used to listen to audio books but now I find myself listening to her’s day an night , the more I listen the more I get interested ❤️
