Good Day JM. Imagine being a 14 year old kid, buy this album, smoking two joints and a Bong in my room with 4 friends, It was music like this that made people like me the way we are today. I so much enjoy watching young people like you hear it for the first time. I show my grand kids your videos so they hear the music when you do. Pretty Cool. Have a Great Day
That is what they do, each song is a journey, twists turns and surprises in every song but always uniquely Lef Zeppelin no one else does it quite the same always mimicked but never replicated or duplicated. They are one of a kind.
Love this song. It's one of my favorites on album 1 so I'm glad you got to, and enjoyed, it! That sound I think you're asking about mid-way though the song is Jimmy Page playing his guitar with a violin bow. His playing during the song is often considered to be one of the best in rock music history. Edit: The singer's name isn't Led Zeppelin, that's the band's name. The singer's name is Robert Plant. As a matter of fact, there's a line in the song in which he sings, "Little Robert Anthony wants to come and play." He's singing about himself. Witty fella. ;)
@@jamesaron1967 During his commentary, he said, "Let me start off with *Led Zeppelin's voice* . Of course, killer as always. *He* just has one of the coolest voices. *He's* definitely one of my favorite rock stars that I've been listening to ..." That's what gave me the idea that he thought the band's name and the singer's name were the same. Had he said *the singer's voice* instead, might not have. ;)
@@jmar7631 Yeah, I heard the comment. After seeing his first Led Zep reaction recently I knew what he really meant was the "voice of Led Zeppelin the band". Had I not seen the other video I might have also thought the same thing. It's all good, he reacts well to the music and that's what counts!

Your reaction JM was the same then me, 50 years ago, when I listening for the first time LZ. I have never heard before LZ, I am on the LSD 25, and on a really good tab of it. I have 17 years old, and in the afternoon, in hot summer time, I go visiting a friend at the house of his parent’s Super STONE. And there, he put this first album of LZ and BANG and WOW. And in my state, on chock, for more than 2 hours I was in this house listening something that had touch me like if that was just yesterday. I was flying walking in this house with the pochette of this first album of LZ, like if this pochette was a part of my body and while I listening this music like if this one was like so important to my live. That memories it is like yesterday and I still alive at 69 years old. Led Zeppelin really don’t have any crap songs, there might be a couple you won’t love. It’s harder picking favorites, because whatever song you’re listening to is your favorite. What’s amazing is throughout their time together, all the great music of different genres they created. They keep listeners on their toes, you never know what you’ll get, but it will definitely be great.

To the benefit of the doubt of the other reaction channels out there, apparently, if they stop the video several times during playback YT won't flag the video for copyright infringement, which may lead to the video being taken down. Other channels with uninterrupted playback reaction videos suffered bans. They do it not only to insert commentary but as a precaution.

This was my favorite song in the world by the time I was 13. It has remained so until now. This one and 'Since I've Been Loving You'. Everything about their art put me into a reality based trans that has lasted me a lifetime. No need for artificial and superficial stimulatation as they have captured and mesmerized me in a way that no other musical talent has. Deep Purple, the Doors, Pink Floyd and a few others have come close, but not close enough to even be in the competition. What was really my stupid luck is that I spent years as go-go dancer in Washington DC (back in the day when it was still safe and lap dances were illegal) dancing to Led Zeppelin songs on the juke box. It was a real learning curve and took awhile to teach myself how to dance to something so creative and artisitic -- but I did-and did it well since I had been listening to them all the time for 10 years, I was able to interpret it through dance with a little help of my mentor who was a former New York Ballet dancer. What a fantastic experience!
