- paulw7uk chess. this is 10-min rapid chess on lichess.org.
very good effort by opponent considering the rating gap. post game engine review says we played 97% v 87% accuracy with really just 1 mistake by opponent that lost material making the difference.
game: lichess.org/vSf75XbP/black - Ігри
Nicely played. I really enjoyed your explanation of your moves.
thank you. good luck with your own chess.
The cool one played opening very well. It pays dividends to work out the moves anticipating what your opponent can do.
nice play paul!!! Hope all is well with you!
thank jonny. not too bad but I do suffer with allergies and hayfever, have for many years, so worst time of year for me for that, tends to ease once we get to around September. I tend to need more paracetamol in Spring / Summer than over winter.
I think the moves by you paul were good becuade im only 2056 and playing the bishop was completely winning after but what your opponent didnt anticipate is the bishop was hanging
not quite sure what you mean sorry. i think you may mean something like b-d3 by white is a very natural looking move and it is, just missed knight to b4 and loses material. yes prior to b-d3 it was essentially level, engine says black +0.7 better so at our level not much difference.
@@Paulw7uk oh yeah sorry I didn't quite know the coordination I got it mixed up but you did play a good game play I like watching your videos
You can set Lichess controls to filter out low-rated players if you don't want to play people 1200 points below you.
correct, if you are playing via the home page. I am playing all the rapid games in the arena tournaments so you play whoever you get paired against by the system, you can't influence that. in the tournaments the system takes your current position into account and also generally your rating as well, but now and again does throw up some matches with very wide rating gaps.
Woo
yes very strong play by my opponent for the rating and the rating gap.
