yes, agreed, , doesn't necessarily mean anything, I usually find for most players, subject to having played enough games to establish a consistent rating, you usually find they are broadly comparable across different time controls, rather than big gaps, but always be exceptions. some players will be blisteringly quick with mouse and win lots of bullet games but will be not quite as strong a player overall so lose more in slower time controls for example.
I dont think the rating gap is that odd. For example, there is also a big gap between my bullet and rapid too because i rarely play bullet
