- Our latest R&D project is the design, build, installation and testing of our electric air conditioning for pre-Puma Land Rover Defender. Follow along as we remove the Land Rover factory set up and install a hand made completely bespoke system that improves cabin air flow and driver comfort. The Classic Retrofit electric A/C system for classic Land Rover Defenders is expected to come to market for the 2025 season, if not before!
This looks fabulous!!
Hi same question as @mr.b4264 I have a 1990 200TDi would be very interested in one of these.
I like it but will it cope with water ? As we wade with our Landrover from Sydney Australia
This is cool!
Has a cost been established?
What will the costs be, and will we be abke to get it in Namibia Africa?
Can’t wait for this! Any chance of a preorder wait list?
With the amount of issues the AC has given me in my imprezas, perhaps I need to try and shoehorn this in XD
And its broken on my discovery 3 too.
Please tell me it’ll be easier and more plug and play then the rubbish from MOD and the HVAC system they “make” 😑 also will this be available in LHD
Do this for a W460 Mercedes G... More than half of all manufactured are still on the road today probably. I would like a LHD version. 😉 And maybe to avoid cutting the bulkhead? Rust and fording deapth issues could arise... And I like mine too much to cut it
How much will this cost? And will it work on a 91’ 200Tdi?
Will the development for the LHD unit have the same release as the RHD? Very excited for this to come to market as options available for the defender lack fresh air intake and I really would like to keep that. Also do you have any plans for added filtration for the air intake? Defenders don't have any sort of filtering for the fresh air intake out of the box.
Yes, if you look at the CAD model at 2:00 you will see it is LHD. Yes, it has fresh air and recirculation. Great idea on the filter.
@@ClassicRetrofit Amazing. Looking forward to getting my hands on a kit once its ready.
Will this or any future units fit the Series 3?
