bit late to the party but super useful video thankyou! I've got a 110 300tdi and rebuilt and reassembled, but now no power to the blower motor... bit lost!
Did you not go in through the blower aperture and replace that foam as well? Was the neoprene that you used self-adhesive, or which adhesive did you use please?

Thanks for the video. Next time don't take your chances with the bonnet ... it can drop and f*ck you up very badly while you are working .
I've been without a heater for 2 years now thought it was time for some heat instead of scrapping the windows inside and out lol
